The friggin Bat voice....still! It ruined the whole last bit with Gordon for me and I could barely tell what he was shouting at Bane in City Hall.... ugh Bale was golden till he stuck the suit on and opened his mouth!

I'm probably in the minority but I didn't like the amount of flashbacks to scenes we had already seen in Batman Begins and TDK. I didn't really feel like a lot of those were necessary. It came off kind of cheesy like I was watching a clips show or something. I also didn't really buy Bruce and Talia hooking up. I didn't get any sense of chemistry between the two of them the same way I did with Batman and Catwoman. Overall though, really small quibbles that I'm sure I will be able to overlook after a few more viewings. Still far more satisfying of an experience than the first time I saw BB and about equal with the first time I saw TDK.
The only ones that I felt was effective was the "Once I had a wife", and the Gordan putting the coat on young Bruce. But if you think about it would have felt weird if THOSE were the only 2 flashbacks in the movie. As much as I wasn't extatic about the other flashbacks, I they worked in establishing that this movie was going to feature flashbacks to Batman Begins. It's like they were saying "hey remember this movie... good, well get ready for some important flashbacks from it".
Even the Gordon scene, which I absolutely loved btw and got choked during, I didn't think it was necessary to show the flashback. I knew exactly what Batman was talking about when he told Gordon about the night his parents were killed. I think the sad fact of the matter is a lot of those flashbacks were put in for those that never saw Batman Begins in the first place (which apparently is a lot more people than I thought), because knowing what happened in Begins really is kind of critical in order to understand many key scenes in this film.
When Bruce was climbing out the pit, I kept thinking the prisoners were saying "fish, fish, pasta, pasta.." although I know they're not saying that. It just, kind of sounds like they are.
Too many WTF moments to list...
Why did Batman continue to talk with his Batman voice to Blake after he knew who he was? And then to Catwoman when he's giving her the Batpod near the end? Then to Gordon when he's giving him the hint at who he was? Just stupid.
Also how did Bruce figure out things about Bane thru a hallucination of Ra's al Gul? Doesn't make sense...
Third,
Dont you think jumping for the ledge with a rope with a recently fixed bulging disc and then falling not once, but twice might have permanently messed up Bruces back?
Also the prisoners at Bruces prison werent even close to mouthing what they should have been. It was so bad that I was like huh? They're not even saying it...
What were they saying anyways?
"This is Awful, Awful!!"
"This is Awesome, Awesome!!!"
"This is Gotham, Gotham!!!"
"Hit the Bottom, Bottom!!!"
Couldnt tell.
And the biggest thing I did not like. Even tho Wayne Manor is not supposed to be IN Gotham city limits. Dont you think Bane would have sent men out to Wayne Manor to ransack and destroy?
Dont get me wrong. Its still a good film. I give it a 6.5 out of 10. It really could have been 2 movies and it might have been better.
Can someone explain to me how Blake just happen to stumble across Gordon as he came out of the sewer? That made zero sense to me and pretty much took me entirely out of the film
I didn't like how Bane was supposed to be in love with Miranda and she with him, and yet they're both perfectally OK with her having sex with Bruce. What did it accomplish? Bruce had already given control of Wayner Enterprises to Miranda and the LOS so why sleep with him. Also if you're Bane aren't you pissed? I would have crushed her throat.
she called him friend in the movie...pretty obvious bane got friend-zoned pretty hardcore.
Man that sucks for Bane. Poor guy. He even dies for her in the end. THat's just not right man. Although I think I'd be sprung for Talia too.
