So technically are we allowed to post the picture? Or does SHH not want us putting this up directly yet, like with the Spiderman 3 Q&A? On a side note, I'm a sort of noob and wanted to know how you post a pic in your post?

to post a picture, put the following tags around the url for the image

Code:
[img][/img]

and yeah, don't post the image. no need for unnecessary heat.

I need a better look before I can judge in an accurate fashion. :)

I never was a big fan of Bumblebee though. I was more into Optimus, Megatron, Soundwave, Ironhide, Constructicons, Dinobots, and Insecticons.

What was the name of the giant airplane? I forgot his name. But he was really cool and he was huge for a space ship. He was white, red, and blue all over and normally transported the Transformers to certain areas.

Skyfire/Jetfire (Cartoon/Comic)
He was a replica of a Robotron jet.

That's him. Thanks. He was another one of my favorites, just couldn't remember his name.

First of all...Robotech or Macross, not Robotron.

Second of all...it sounds like he was talking about SkyLynx, not Jetfire/Skyfire. Either that or he is confusing the two. Skylynx transported the Autobots through space much like Astrotrain transported the Decepticons.

it looks cool...the real trick is going to be seeing it transform ofcourse;)

Really hard to tell in that position. I do not think you can fairly judge it.

Doh! Typo. Of course, Robotech.
And, I've never heard of SkyLynx. What year did it come out?

I believe 1986...I could be wrong. He was a big part of the show after the movie.

So far the transformers look too roboty to me. I thought they'd look more futuristic and intricate, but it looks like they're made with the same technology we have today - pistons and tubes and ****e - with car parts pasted on top. I thought these were advanced robotic lifeforms, not something some kid made with his erector set.

They're "SKELETAL" as in creepy and off-putting IMHO.... More like mechanical Star Trek Deep Space Nine "Changelings" than actual Transformers. Creepy and scary if you ask me........

I like my CREEPY cyborgs to stay in the real of "Terminator." It sucks that Michael Bay feels a need to STEAL that whole vibe away.

The original transformers weren't "futuristic and intricate" they were mostly cubes and rectangles with heads...

lol...as if Terminator was the first movie to ever use the idea of robots.

i like the idea of pistons and mechanical parts....after all, cars and vehicles ARE machines. they needed to find a way to make the parts from a real car transform into a humanoid robot and the only way to do that is to use the existing parts. you can't have parts pop out of nowhere, that'd be too tacky. at least IMO...

Why? You only see the outside of the car, it can be anything on the inside. So the transformers change their entire body make up to match every car part? That's kind of stupid. It's like a lizard changing the color of it's entrails to match the outside enviroment.

The Transformers were a mechanical race long before they came to Earth. Their body composition is probably far more efficient, complex and intricate than the robotics we currently possess. Think about it, that's like downgrading a human body to that of a one celled organism.

Looks good to me.
