What do you think of Ron Paul?

Yeah a war broke out and that is solved, we don't have "colored" labels in places right now. Do you think that the federal government made that happen or the people of America?

LOL, do you even know about the Civil War?
Jeeesus I hope you're not a US citizen because it would be kinda shameful.
LOL "Federal Government" you're 10 years away from being a hardline conservative or typing obscure manifestos in a shed out in the back country.

Yeah I know some information about the civil war I'm not an expert but I have an idea of what went on. It depends on what you mean by hardline conservative. I'm definatley a fiscal conservite but social liberal. Please elaborate.

No, the civil war and the civil rights movement were totally different times in American history. I would like you to tell me why you equated the two in your post?

Ugh-No sorry ,Some things aren't up to the people.Like in 2004 when they let the individual states vote on gay marriage.....As if they never read The Constitution.

Please elaborate on your comment. You say some things aren't up to the people but individual states voted, so wouldn't that be a direct vote from the people of the states. And what in your opinion is the constitutional violation.

Putting it up for a vote was a constitutional violation. You dont have the right to vote on that.

as for gay marriage, and I've posted it before....i feel marriage should be defined as a union between 2 consenting adults.......and 18 +....none of this emancipated crap........if you are emancipated, you still have to wait untill you have passed the age of 18 to get a marriage licencse

Saw him on Real Time last night, I liked him. He'll never get elected :(

JL-

I like Ron Paul: He's a very strict Constitutionalist. I like his stance on State's Rights. I don't like however his foreign policy. Keep up the good posts.

He couldn't be a strict Constitutionalist without that foreign policy

Can you please elaborate? Where does it say in the Constitutioin that we can't intervene? Which Amendment is that? I've Read the Constitution. It Ain't In There. The Founding Father's had no problem fighting to keep ourselves safe. Even Nations that were aiding the enemy. What about Barbarry Wars?
