The Wii-U is coming out in a few months so what will it be?
Just a slightly on topic question for you guys.
For you who are "hardcore" PS3/Xbox360 fans. Let's say the follow up of your favourite will be released 6-12 months after the other one. Would you buy the other one (that is: the next Xbox even if you'd rather have the PS4 and vice versa), or would you rather wait?
For me, personally, Sony's gaming system and games are so vastly superior to Microsoft's that I'd much rather wait. Also, I'm not really a first day purchaser so I'd probably wait anyway and save some money.
Yeah all these should be equalised next gen. XBox wil have blu-ray & Sony will probably charge. If they keep it free it will be a massive selling point to the PS4 if they can upgrade their service with things like cross game party chat, but then they are losing out on crazy amounts of money for no reason.Léo Ho Tep;24270659 said:Hard to say actually. Microsoft seems to be better at making cheaper consoles, that's a strength. But the xbox360 doesn't have a bluray player, nor free multiplayer. Which I'm not sure the PS4 will offer anymore though.
Well I was a Sony only man during the PS1 & PS2 days and the delay of the European launch is the only reason I bought a 360 to fill the gap. On top of that their early gen performance was terrible and by the time they got their act together I was too invested in 360 & friends on there. Now I can't really see myself changing unless all my main friends do. It's kind of even more important than which console happens to be the best next gen.Just a slightly on topic question for you guys.

I have the PS2 to play its games. As for the 4 USB ports, I barely use one, let alone four.but the ps3 slim doesn't play ps2 games. i'm glad i got my big fat ps3, with sensors and 4 usb ports.
but the ps3 slim doesn't play ps2 games. i'm glad i got my big fat ps3, with sensors and 4 usb ports. i also like that i could put in a new hard drive of my choice. i only have an original xbox so i could play kotor. never got the 360, but i have played my friends. one thing i didn't like was you needed batteries for the controller. i still have my original ps3 controller i let other people use, while i use the dual shock 3 of course. but the ps3 controllers last forever it seems.
i would buy a new xbox if it had a game i really wanted to play.
