My dream a few nights ago was a Beast Wars episode, completely original where 2 characters that died came back in new forms. What the hell does that mean?
Couldn't say why you're having a jerking reaction, sorry.Kaleb said:recently Ive been scared of dreaming , as everyime Id dream I would have a sudden ''jerk like reaction '' and wake up , but the last dream I can remember involved me kissing this girl , whom I dont have any feelings for.
I've read that dogs symbolize a rejuvenation. They represent old hobbies, talents, and other perfect expressions of yourself. Parallel the harmony you feel with the dog, to a similar feeling/situation in your waking life.Hades said:Uh, I don't remember posting that. Interesting. I'm going to post something else in here cause I'm bored. lately I've been having alot of dreams about my dead dog. Everytime he's in them it's usually outside and the weather's really nice. And he's always happy, in my dreams he's never actually died. We usually do stuff together in them, or he helps me. It's strange.
I don't know.Cyclops said:So what does the dream I had three nights ago mean? Where I was playing one-on-one against Michael Jordan and the only reason I held my own was because he was playing even worse than I was?
Consider what your overall impression of the show Beast Wars is, and look for a parallel in your waking thought. There are probably puns at work here too: is there something within yourself that could metaphorically be called a "beast war" or the name of those characters which came back?Spidey-Bat said:My dream a few nights ago was a Beast Wars episode, completely original where 2 characters that died came back in new forms. Birds often represent freedom of spirit. Your spiritual side may be becoming infantile and archaic, due to severe repression.Kritish said:I had a dream that my Parakeet named Ozzy decided to kill me.
Chase dreams are extremely common. It is a defense mechanism in waking life, to handle the situations and aspects of ourselves that have caused us immense guilt and pain.Equint77 said:I dreamt I was heading downtown and I was being chased by vampires... and the only way to kill them was to spray them with Febreeze....
A for effortHyper Venom said:I'm no good at this, but my guess is that you may feel guilt by association because of the mean and racist comments from your aunt. Your attempts to help the Latino worker may be your subconscious making an effort to attone for your aunt's transgressions. The red boots may suggest that you feel rage toward your aunt for her actions, and by putting them in the shopping cart, it may be your way of putting that anger somewhere where it won't end up hurting somebody. As for the soy milk and Fruit Loops...well, milk is essential to sustaining life. Maybe this is your way of replenishing something within yourself that you feel may have been hurt or tainted by your aunt and the subsequent anger you felt toward her. Fruit Loops...I dunno...is that your favorite cereal? I'm stumped on that one.
...see, this is why I always leave the dream analysis to you.

It's not as long as it looks - here's my dream (04/11/2006):
I am walking up a knoll in a green field. There are woods all around this bald spot. I walk into a tool shed-looking store. There was only one worker, a latino young man. I went outside and started walking again.
Now I seem to be back in this same store, but now it's bigger, like a dim warehouse. Near the back they are stocking this place, because soon it will open as a grocery store! I go to the back and see that kid from Holes and Walking Tall, a ******ed latino male, and my aunt Jackie. (My aunt makes a lot of mean insulting comments to people in real life.) My aunt's the boss. She is gruff and rude to the latino underling, calling him a "******". He fumbles his words in response. His eye was droopy and flickering...
I notice a shopping cart in front of me. It has items the "workers" (or maybe just that kid) are putting away. I see an opened soymilk carton, and possibly some fruit loops. I know these are mine somehow, I know I opened them. I want to help the people here put the stock out, but never physically helped them. When there were just those two items left in the cart, I asked the kid, "Do we put these away too?". He said, no, no, those're yours.
I drink the sweet soy milk. I put some red boots I own in real life in the shopping cart, out of no where.
now I turn around and this place still looks crummy, but now there are a whole lot of people, checking out groceries! The lines to the checkout are packed, it's really busy in here!
I wake up.
*clears throat* ahem:
like oh my god what does my dream mean?!!!11
Well there is a psychology to dreaming, the larger mystery being why dreams appear coded at all. They use objects and interactions from our familiar environment to relay these codes.Kent said:Don't know if I really believe in dream interpretation, but I haven't done any research on the subject, so I won't say anything conclusive. I just thought dreams were memory fragments being rearranged and processed by the brain while you sleep?
The Question said:Seems like it's just a weird drea,\m. Not as weird as mine, though:
In mine, a very hot lesbian and I were preforming oral sex on her equally hot girlfriend. Then, the two pesbians suddenly turned into male hong kong action heroes (lathough they still had vaginas) and fought my father.
taskmaster said:While on the subject of dreams, is it strange to have a dream that you made up before. My friends and I were talking abou the most messed dreams we've ever had. I came up with the idea of waking up in a dream with a shotgun with unlimited ammo and it didn't need to be reloaded. A couple of weeks later I had the dream I explained to them.
I also had a dream when I was younger that I was hanging out with the characters of one of my favorite t.v shows at the time Gulla-Gulla Island(this was when I was like six, so back off). While we were having a good time Pennywise the clown from IT comes out of nowhere and eats the youngest kid. The rest of the us run to the front door but the father from the show can't get it open. Pennywise starts to massacre the whole family, then I would wake up right before he got to me. The only reason I remember this dream is because it was a reoccuring dream and it scared the hell out of me until I saw IT again when I was ten and laughed my ass off, that movie is hilarious.

8Ball2/JanG5 said:Well I don't feel afraid when I die. I did a few years ago when I had the Iraq dream, but i've died hundreds of times now. Everytime it happens I just think "oh it's happening again" and I sort of know it's a dream too. I never get scared, and I never wake up scared. I just feel apathetic. I never even feel riveted or excited by my dreams, just bored.
