What happened to that Captain America Footage?

I doubt that they would use that scene in the beginning of The Avengers movie. That'd be so cool if that happens.

You know, I wouldn't mind Marvel opening Captain America with an abbreviated version of TiH's Arctic scene. Just think about it. We see Bruce (Norton, hopefully) make a cameo appearance on the ice shelf from a different angle/perspective attempting suicide. The next thing we see is the Hulk breaking ol' Cap free from the ice. Talk about continuity between Marvel films. I could even see this as a flashback somewhere else in the story as to how Cap was freed.

Interesting idea. It would make for a good opening as well as serve as an early connection to another Marvel property.

Expand on the cut TIH opening and then have an extended flashback that goes right from Steve volunteering leading right up to him being frozen.

Then at the end of the movie, leap forward to the present and have him being discovered by S.H.I.E.L.D.

Perfect ending to go into the 2nd movie with.

Wasn't that Captain America footage supposed to be put on the internet a month back? Did I miss it or something? I fee like that would've been something that wouldn't have escaped my notice....

I know you guys remember hearing about it. Did I miss it or something?
