First Avenger What is your favorite bits from the movie?

My favorite bits would be these but not in order.

-Captain America vs the members of Hydra

-Captain America vs Red Skull on the bomber plane

-Captain America performing the first and second USO show

-Red Skull vs everyone besides Captain America

-Red Skull with Dr.Arnim Zola

-Steve Rogers and Heinz Kruger talking to each other

-Captain America and Red Skull confronting each other for the first time

-Captain America moving in the air in slow motion as the Hydra tank explodes

-Captain America and Peggy Carter having their final conversation with one another

-Captain America and Red Skull talking to each other as Captain America is in captured mode

-Colonel Chester Phillips looking at Peggy Carter after realizing that Captain America has a crush on her based on the video footage

-Most of the scenes that had pre-serum Steve and Dr.Erksine in them

-Pre-serum Steve and Peggy Carter talking to each other in the car

-Dr.Arnim Zola saying "Hail Hydra"

-Steve Rogers being superior serious and talking to himself right before he doe's the first USO show

When the Dr who recruited Steve pointed at Steves heart as he died. Reminding him that his good nature was the reason he was endowed with special powers. Pretty powerful.

Also when CA returned with the POWs.

The USO scene was pretty awesome along with Cap's final scene in the '40s. My favorite line was probably Skull's reference to Raiders of the Lost Ark, since that's my second favorite movie.

Also the scene where Steve notes all the areas he's been beat up... in less than a minute.

7. The intro to Howard Stark
8. Stanley Tucci drinking before Steve's procedure
9. The shootout immediately after Kruger blows up the lab
10. "I'm not kissin ya"

Since everyone probably mentioned it already, gonna add one that might not have been mentioned.

Steve drinking after Bucky died.

Drinking away his pain kinda made him more relatable, plus they could really play this dynamic off of Tony Stark.

EVERYTHING Tommy Lee Jones character did was compelling. Every line out of his mouth was perfect.

Steve and Dr. Erskine the night before the experiment.

The entire final act... rushing the base as a distract through catching the plane through the incredible battle before the Skull showdown.

-Scene where the guy is painting Red Skull and you can just see the terror on his face as he waits for Zola to give his opinion of the portrait.
-When Skull pulls off his human mask. I thought the makeup/FX for the Red Skull's look were very well done.
-Zola's introduction.
-Howard Stark's introduction. It reminded me of Iron Man 2.
-The USO scene; I liked the song.
-Tommy Lee Jones did a good job in most of his scenes
-Haley Atwell was captivating; I enjoyed every scene with her in it. The romance was understated but better handled than in Thor or Green Lantern.
-Gabe Jones shouting out Howard University.
-The multiracial, international roster of the Howling Commandos.
-I liked the father-son relationship, of a sort, between Erskine and Steve. I liked how Erskine was the only guy that believed in him. It gave what happened later more of an emotional punch.
-The Steve-Bucky pre-war friendship was a bit of a shock, but I liked it because it made more sense for him to be a grown man fighting alongside Cap, and two, seeing what later happens in the film and the short amount of time given to these two onscreen, I was at least somewhat mollified by the idea that they had been friends for a long time, and that helped justify Steve's emotional reponse.
-Cap bringing the captured soldiers back.
-When Steve figured out how to get the flag.
-Cap and Carter's final conversation.

Too much to name, but one of my favorite scenes was when Steve shows up and breaks the soldiers out of the cages in the Hydra base. I don't remember the exact bit of dialogue, but it went something like:

Steve: Captain America.

Union Jack: Excuse me?

-Assassination of Erskine/chase scene. That was intense as hell.

-The last radio conversation with Peggy, even though it made me tear up.

Wow, it's really when you think of all the parts you loved in a thread like this then it really hits you how great this movie is.

My favs:
- Steve succeeding at the flag
- CAP vs Hydra agents at the entrance to the Alps base
- Steve and Peggy's final conversation
- Virtually every line TLJ had but especially "If you have something to say now is the perfect time to keep it to yourself!"
- Red Skull vs Hitlers Nazi's
- Steve and Dr. Erskine's conversation the night before
- The STAR SPANGLED MAN song! LOVE IT!!!
- The entire bomber battle sequence, both CAP vs the Hydra pilots, and CAP vs the RED SKULL
- CAP vs the Hydra tank

Oh and also:
- Every bit of Chris Evans' portrayal of Steve Rogers/CAPTAIN AMERICA
- Every line of dialogue from Hugo Weaving as the RED SKULL
- Every line of dialogue from TLJ
- The beauty of Hayley Atwell and Natalie Dormer
- The sexiness of the Star-spangled dancing girls
- Dr. Erskine's interview of Steve at the recruitment centre
- The positive portrayal of great things in certain characters like Peggy's sharpshooting skills, Luke Gabe's intelligence and education, etc.



And, oh yeah, i almost forgot.
- The whole darn movie! Seen it 3 times already; looking forward to seeing it again this weekend.
