What if the Avengers hadn't disassembled?
What if Peter had merged with the symbiote? - I know we've had this story before but in this after the symbiote saves Peter with the church bells it goes back to him not trying to "trick" Peter into merging but actually explains itself. Remember this was the "good" symbiote exiled because it wanted to join with its host rather than being a simple parasite. This would have Pete willingly join and embrace all his powers making an incredibly powerful Spider-Man.
What If Cap was given the Sentry's potion instead of the supersoldier serum. All powerful Cap without the whining.
What If Magneto was born and Aryan instead of a Jew? This has immense potential as Mag's views and the Nazi's aren't all that different. Him fighting for the Nazi's in WW2 could have tipped the scales and led to a very different Avengers being born.
What if Doom had become friends with Reed? Reed helps doom contact and save his mother, as a result he realizes that by working with others he can achieve so much more. The fantastic five are born and with doom's help, and his moralistically relaxed nature, the new FF are the most powerful team in all the universe.
You could have both of the bolded scenario's happen at the same time...a truly evil Magneto against a ridiculously powerful truly American Cap!

Magneto was around eight years old at the end of the war.
Reed and Doom were freinds. They had a falling out, and are now rivals.
Magneto was not a jew, he was a gypsie, but the principal holds the same. I see him as being something more like Cap, an idealist, rather than a nazi supporter. This would lead to him being too reckless to be a leader of mutants.
As far as the Dr. Doom idea...
if they were able to work together and communicate with hell, I imagine something different happening. Doom actually expressing regret over having to leave his mother there. Reed, claiming to be wishing to save Victor's mother, has developed an obsession with traveling to Hell scientifically. Reed and Doom do go their seperate ways, but Reed does eventually achieve his obsession: his maiden voyage.
Reed is transformed into a being of pure darkforce, he calls himself Mr. Fright (and it is revealed that he has become increasingly evil since that break through).
Ben Grimm: is transformed into a gray rocky gargoyle like being, called The Monster
Sue Storm: changed into a living spector of insubstance, able to be intangible, and invisible. able to fly., The Intangible-Woman
Johnny Storm: possessed by a prematurely released Zarathos, The Inhuman-Torch
Doom, horrified at what his oldest, and only, friend has become vows to combat him, no matter what. the two greatest minds battling ravaging the world with their combat. Doom, in his down time does what he can to repair the damage and accidently finds himself the leader of most of Europe as a consequence.
Mags and Magda (that was her name right?) escaped from the camp as adults and had a child shortly after that.
Doom always hated reed, and was jealous. They were never friends, Reed seemed to like Doom but Doom never felt anything but rivalry and contempt for Reed.
Ok, you actually made me look it up to prove it. Mags is jewish, they tried to recon. him into a gypsy because a lot of Jews thought it @ucked up that Mags as a jew would then take on the Nazi ideal.
Well, I stand happily corrected.
Magneto as an aryan...
He was not a Nazi, he was however a member of a prominant German family. He was confused and scared about the events that happened during Hitler's rise. He became even more scared when His powers first started to emerge. When he met Charles Xavier, he wasn't the equal that our Magneto was. He was a scared young man, terrified of what might occur. Xavier, helped him conquer that fear, helped him build his strength, develope it into courage. What should have been the brotherhood was started, instead, by Mystique, who was far more vicious than Magneto was at any point in his reign.
I thought they their kids several years after the war.
I'm pretty sure he only started truely hating Reed after his accident and expulsion from ESU. Before that, they were just academic rivals.
That's not why they tried to change it. As was said in the paragraph you posted, they didn't want to be accused of anti-semetism for having an ethnically Jewish supervillain.
A few I believe was the term, if you see the images, Eric is pretty grown up (definately not 8).
Truely hating? yes, but Doom never liked reed, called him a "medelsome fool" or something to that effect. But they were never close to being friends, be cool to see that.
Actually a fairly large group of Jews protested and wrote into marvel several years ago regarding this. I forget the name of the movement, but the idea of a holocaust survivor trying to promote a master race just didn't sit right with them.
I stand by my version
...and Steve Rogers steps in with the "power of a million exploding suns" and waxes the whole friggin Nazi kit and kaboodle. WWII ends, we're introduced to McDonalds, Wal-Mart and MicroSoft and society gets dumber.![]()
I was thinking more evil nazi scientists make all their people mutants and a massive fight ensued probably leaving Guam as the only remaining superpower on earth, as is their destiny.
He!! yeah, the world needs more $3 h**kers and that country's full of 'em.
Hey Bored, how would your What If work?
Onslaught (completely stupid, I refuse to acknowledge its existence).
