I don't even remember my reaction to Vader revealing his parentage to Luke. I think I was already told but it was so long ago.

It's a shame. In some ways, I wish more than anything to not even know the reveal and be surprised like people were in '80.

I remember. my dad told me, and Even having been a fan of star wars before knowing the word prequel, I refused to believe it, having seen it and everything. It was just a slap to the face to have to believe it.

When I saw it in 1980, up until that moment I honestly thought the reason Darth Vader was obsessed with finding Luke was because he was still mad at him for blowing up the Death Star. I remember thinking that for the entire movie, and then...

I never, ever, ever saw that line coming. I'll never forget that.
