What made you happy today? - Part 1

Completing The Grouse Grind. Not sure my legs are going to be as happy as I am tomorrow, but it was great nonetheless!

announcement of the Legacy Dragonzord from Comic-Con.

It was yesterday and not today, but I had a shoot for a TV show yesterday. That made me happy. :)

Hastings sent me a brand new copy of Dead Silence when I originally ordered a used copy. They also didn't charge me anything either.

Edit: Anything extra I mean.

Not really specific to this day, but I'm happy that with the advances in technology we can experience films and television shows easily from all over the world. Watching a german show right now in the US due to the internet. Just have to love the inter-connectivity.

I'm usually someone who's always in a happy equilibrium, but something made me tremendously happy today.

My sister's bf and his iPhone camera app got featured on TechCrunch and is (still!) #1 on Hacker News!

This guy has been working nonstop, putting in some crazy hours, for at least two years learning how to do everything to make it. (I'm not kidding, he even did the art and the website demos. This guy is nuts!) He went waaay, and I mean miles and miles, above and beyond what a camera app needed, because he wanted to make the best one on the market. And it wasn't get ANY traction at all and he was getting pretty down. I mean, anyone working as hard as he was without any results would get pretty down...Until today!

It just makes me super-happy when someone's tremendously hard work pays off in a big way. :awesome:

Finished moving. I hate the city I'm living in now, but I'm happy to have the move over and done with.

Possibly moving back to my hometown by Christmas time, and also possibly getting a new car by next summer.

Payday

Which resulted in ice cream, beef patties, dog supplies, paid bills, a sub, gas money, much needed groceries, and b-day gifts for kid.

I'll be broke by Monday but today was awesome.

Pacific Rim in IMAX 3D

I'm so glad I didn't miss out on that movie. It was so awesome and so much more than what I expected.

Hourly associate at Panera Bread. Nothing to write home about, but hey, a job's a job.
