None, because Marvel still ain't sure about properties lesser than the big 3 Avengers. After this year's Cap and Thor getting above average results, Marvel now gain confidence to launch the little known properties.

I think the long cooking Ant Man is the best candidate if Thor & Cap are done earlier and getting the same results.

Oh I hope Marvel Studios isn't turning into WB, I just look at how they treat their DC characters, and it's pathetic. 67 Batman movies and still no Green Arrow, Wonder Woman or Teen Titans.

Marvel should take some chances, there's far too many good characters and good stories to be made. The rumor of Dr. Strange and Ant-Man has been there long enough.

I don't think anyone would be interested in a Teen Titans movie right now except us geeks. I mean, you remember the weird-ass animated series, right?

Nonsense. For Marvel Studios to turn into the WB they'd have to focus entirely on a single character, and that's obviously not the case, as so far we've gotten Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, and Captain America.

I know I know, I saw the movies you know. And DC has 1.5 characters. They still try to make Superman movies.

My point is that both companies have a fantastic pool of characters. And I'm not sure I agree with the fact that people haven't heard of them is an issue. Did the general audience read Hellblazer? Did the average moviegoer ever read a single issue of Hellboy? I doubt it. So any superhero can be made into a movie that people will want to see. And there's no reason for Marvel to only focus on the big three.

But I heard a rumor that we'd see some news from Marvel Studios soon...

You have to give them time. It's only been four years, after all, since Iron Man came out. And while they've focused on their biggest characters, each character has only received one movie so far, save for Iron Man. I don't think we need to worry about them only focusing on their biggest characters, though. After all, they've already seriously talked about doing an Ant-Man and Dr. Strange movies, crowed about having the rights to the Punisher and Blade back, and have even mentioned the Guardians of the Galaxy, of all people. So I doubt we have anything to worry about, as they've already doubled WB's character output in only four years while Warner Brothers has over 20 years to put some serious work into characters who aren't Batman and Superman, and completely futz it up when they try to bring in a third.

Marvel Studios
The Avengers

Sony
The Amazing Spider-Man
Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Fox
The Wolverine (maybe)

Avengers is quite possibly the biggest movie ever made. I think one movie this year is fine ;)

I want to believe this too! :awesome:

In my mind, The Avengers should be the movie to end all movies. I sort of hope it's of the quality that if it's the last movie I ever see, I'll still be satisfied.

Well, that and the new movie with Carmen Electra, 2 Headed Shark Attack.

im mostly lookingforward to theThe Avengers im looki tothe The Avengers the most. im lookingforwward theThe Avengers the amazing spider-man and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Frankly, I'm not too impressed with the news of that Superman reboot, Man of Steel, even though the on-set photos look pretty good so far. Aside from Batman and Superman, DC only did the recent GL, Watchmen, Catwoman (or rather, CINO), and...nothing, at least when you tally up all the DC superhero movies from the past decade. Marvel Studios, even with just a few years since its creation, have made two Iron Man movies, one Thor, one Captain America, and next year will give us The Avengers. They have done far more than their competition regarding releasing superhero movies in far less time. Marvel Studios is *nothing* like WB.

Lauren Donner, the producer of X-Men movies, already said that she is hoping The Wolverine will begin shooting in 2012, and the screenplay is currently under a rewrite. There's no way that this movie can make the 2012 release date. Man of Steel, which is already shooting, has already pushed its premiere to 2013, so there's no hope for The Wolverine.

I said "MAYBE".

And now I do think Wolverine will be released in 2013 and not 2012.
