What storyline (character) would you like for FF3?

Just checking in on this poll...not to surpirsed that Galactus and Inhumans are almost tied.

I really want a FF3. It would be cool if the Inhumans were the main storyline with a minor subplot being Galactus' re-appearance (with a full body this time) to destroy the Earth...again (he has reformed above the Earth). Maybe Maximus' evil scheme will lead to Galactus' return somehow. Surfer has left the solar system in search of...himself.

The combined strength of the Inhumans, plus the FF and Frankie Raye's transformation into Nova will save the planet from ultimate destruction.

if the Inhumans are chosen, they can have multiple characters, with johnny romancing Crystal, and Sue discovering she's pregnant by the end of the film..
and Doom can ally himself with Maximus..

my 2nd choice is frightful four, but the Wizard will have to be upgraded to a compelling bad guy..

Agreed, and maybe if he had a new Herald and even some more cosmic powered minions, FF3 will have heaps of cool action sequences, instead of only a few like in the other 2 movies.

Galactus will be the villain in the Silver Surfer movie. I say go with Skrulls for FF3

Its prob best to have a strong villain to support the precieved weaker villain.

I think they should have puppet master but........has anyone read the FF issues from during infinity war? They had one issue where puppet master is angry that his daughter is back with the thing but suddenly the thing is attacked by an evil version of the thing. As the battle progresses puppet master realises that evil thing could harm his daughter so using a clay sculpute of evil thing he helps ben win the fight.

Something like that would work great. In the first half of the film the puppet master despises the idea that the thing is with his daughter and so tries to destroy the ff by making them attack each other.

In the second half of the film he is befriended by the second villain (who would obviously be the afforementioned stronger villain ie annihilus, super-skrull, terrax, thanos, Doctor Doom). They form an allaince but it turns sour when the villain makes the mistake of attacking/threatening alicia masters. The puppet Master then realises his mistake and uses his clay against the second villian. The second villain is too powerful to be fully controlled for long by puppet master and attacks him but the distraction is long enough for the FF to regroup and defeat the second villain.

Film ends with a battered Puppet Master giving his consent to alicia and bens relationship before he hands himself in to the police for his part in whatever crimes he cmmitted during the movie.


I think that could work well because your standard evil villain mold just won`t work well becuase if the ff accidently kill puppet master then ben and alicia`s relationship won`t be too rosy.

I find it amusing that in some of the above posts a villain in suggested, but then you feel he or she would have to be changed to work in the movie.

Wasn't this the problem with Doom the first time around?!

Any of those concepts would work fine as they are, if Fox would just have some faith in them!

Some villains do need to be changed to work on screen, Doom, simply, wasn't one of those.....that was the problem....

Sure, ANY comic character can look campy as hell, if they don't give a damn about it, or it can look great. Take Spider-Man, in the '70's t.v. show he looks pretty bad, but the same design in the movie looks great! Of course they don't have to copy every little detail, was Bat Man "changed" from the comics, not really: he still has the basics of that design - cowl with ears, cape, belt, bat on chest, etc.

Galactus, Medusa, Diablo, Klaw they can all work as is - if the film makers bringing them to the screen give a damn. If they care, you get Iron Man. If they don't, then you a lot of lame excuses and another Dr. Doom.

"srnrew" mentions why I didn't include Molecule Man, Diablo or Blastarr in my choices for a villain for the 3rd film. Well, for all the reasons that people may not be happy with Mole Man or Puppet Master...they are second rate villains in my opinion whose storylines would not be able to carry a movie, much less follow the epic Silver Surfer. However, Diablo could be cool if altered!!

maybe blastarr could be used in a negative zone storyline temember his homeworld is IN the N ZONE

As much as I'd like to see the Surfer return and vitness Galactus in all his glory; I feel the next time we see those guys won't be until the SS movie so for FF3 I voted for................

God, Black Bolt would look absolutely awesome on-screen.

Aren`t they making a black panther movie? Surely he can`t be in a FF movie coz his film rights are not owned by fox? At least i think fox doesnt own them.

I'd frankly like to see Galactus for the third, because it has to be bigger, better and longer.

My idea

Silver Surfer's betrayal destroys Galactus' technologically driven storm. However the event is not without a witness; Uatu the Watcher.

Within the confines of the moon, a space faring astronaut stumbles upon the Watcher citadel and the mysterious Uatu instructs him (Wyatt Wingfoot) to seek out Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four.

Meanwhile Doom returns to Latveria and sets his sights on King T'Challa of Wakanda for his new plan of world domination: to control a precious metal in capable of creating the Ultimate Nullifier.

Reed Richards is summoned to the Watcher Citadel where he is informed of Galactus' imminent return. He is told only a metal known as vibranium is capable of defeating Galactus...a metal the Watcher placed many centuries ago in a remote land known as Wakanda.

They four of them, accompanied by Lt. Frankie Raye and Wyatt Wingfoot travel to Wakanda. Doom convinces the T'Challa, the Black Panther, that the Fantastic Four are enemies. Black Panther attacks and defeats them. Doom promptly overthrows the Panther and uses the Latverian army to seize control of Wakanda. He uses his device, the Ultimate Nullifier, to hold several countries for ransom.

Galactus arrives, dispells Doom and his troops. Black Panther and Reed join forces and realize Doom's weapon, the Ultimate Nullifier may be capable of defeating Galactus, however, in the process it will destroy the weilder as well.

Hesitating to use the device proves their downfall, and Galactus destroys it. To save the planet, Frankie Raye offers herself as a herald. Galactus accepts.

Yeah, it does seem weird that a nation that held off America will fall to Doom and his Doombots/Troops. However, I think in the context of the film and in the spirit of providing drama/conflict it would be okay.

Black Panther defeating the Fantastic Four is the most important part for me that needs to remain. If Wakanda falls due to a backstabber in an alliance, I can deal with that.

And, as I say, Doom betrays their trust. So, they are taken unawares...at least that makes it look like Doom isn't fighting fair.

I don`t know though. One thing the crew actually said on the second movie is that both films were difficult because with one main villain you end up making the ff look weak. With alot of people going on about the ff films not having enough action as well show should it proceed?

The inhumans would be cool but after the initial ff2-like misunderstanding battle, the two groups woul team-up against maximus. Which would just make matters worse instead of four heroes being barely able to beat a villain you end up with about 12 unable to beat the villain individually.

Annihilus? Blastaar? Puppet Master? All have the same prob as doom from the first two. That it is dificult to have fight scnes where four heroes fail to beat 1 villain.

I`d say then for FF3 I`d go for either mole man or the frightful four.

MOLE MAN: You can have reed face him. While the others are battling hordes of subterreaneans. Heat resistant ones fighting johnny. Giant cave monsters fighting ben. And masses of subterreanean forces fighting sue (her invisibility would be useless to those who dwell in the dark). Could work. Would be very weird and out there as well.

FRIGHTFUL FOUR: An easier option. You pick a villain for each hero. A strong villain to fight the thing. Wizard vs reed. Some flying villain perhaps like the beetle to fight johnny. And a unique villain to fight sue. I`d go for Klaw because the guy is living sound. How could sue`s force field stop someone made out of vibrations?

Personally I`d go with the frightful four. It has a lot of potential. And considering how everyone seems to critiscize the FF films and say they are rubbish and lacking in action, I feel FF3 will need to be an all out action extravaganza to justify the continuation of the franchise to fox and the general public. The Frightful Four works for that quite well. You would be able to have several wicked fight scenes because each fantastic four member would have a foe specifically picked to counter their powers. So instead of trying to do another 1 vs 4 fight which they seem to be struggling with. You would be able to have an aerial battle and chase for Johnny. A slugfest in the streets for Ben. A face-off for sue. And a battle between team leaders between wizard and reed. I say wizard because a lot of people would say pick 3 bad guys and have doom as the leader but firstly that is a very narrow focus and secondly doom is almost a match for all four so any one ff member couldn`t fight him alone. `Sides why not let the wizard have some fun?

Negative Zone and Annihilus is really the only way to go IMO. Galactus story should be continued in the Silver Surfer film and the Skrulls/Super Skrull really wouldn't have the impact they should due to Johnny basically becoming him in FF2. Mole Man as a follow up to Surfer/Galatcus would be a joke maybe have him as a villain early on in 3 who the FF defeat quickly. And Namor should have his own film. The Inhumans I could see if FF4 if there ever is one but not for this one. Also I'd have Annihilus look like this
