I am wondering what's the most wanted Star Trek/Terminator products out there.

Crap loads (why the hell do you think Termnator Salvation is PG-13?). I've seen both lines up close. The Star Trek role play stuff (phaser, tricorder, communicator) and the Enterprise model will be mine at some point. On the figure front I'll probably be getting the 1/18th scale stuff. But because Playmates are a pack of f-ing *****e bags and don't put the playset parts in non-US Star Trek figures I'm going to have to consult the internets for them. For terminator I'll probably get the T-600, a few T-700's (3-5), and the Terminator RIP.

You know, I was looking at them and thinking....'I thought these had playset parts' I didn't bother looking in to it too much...but you answered it for me.

I kinda hate why these toy companies seem to try and think of ways to screw us in Canada.

Case in point - "Well the Canadians dont need the playset of the bridge"....So we go and buy it American online, and not from the store....so it doesn't sell as well, so they don't stock it next time.

The recent wave a DCU, I was actually there for the opening of a box, something I've never witnessed in store before, but it confirmed my Suspicions...I was there thinking Yay, full set, I will buy them. But no...a box of six yeilded, 1 Dr Impossible, 1 Miracle Man.......and 4 more Miracle Man....all with the same BAF piece......So yeah, Folks'll just buy the whole set online, they wont sell well in the store, and then the wont even get the in the future.....Same thing goes for randomly choosing one figure.....say bullseye to just not include in the cases to Canada.

And the same thing goes for the lateness......I get tired of waiting when something is already out in the US, So I buy online....it finally comes to a Canadian store, folks don't buy it as they already got it.....and the store doesnt stock it in the future.......but I'm just a collector, what to I know about how I affect the market?

Mattel's case ratios leave MUCH to de desired. They spread out an entire wave over 2 case assortments. For DCUC series 4 to get a full set you'd need 2 cases (.000L and .000K). Assuming you wanted the Artemis variant and didn't really care which Captain Atom you got. Those two cases would give you 2 complete sets of series 4, an extra WW and 1 Artemis.

And it isn't just Canada that gets screwed. Europe gets screwed just as much if not more. They don't have the playset parts either.

Yeah, that one and the one with the shotgun and shades. All kinds of cool.

I bought the six inch Uhuru because Zoe Saldana=sexy but I'm not sure I'll buy much more than that. Overall, I think Playmantes' trek figures are just dissapointing compared to the diamond select one and I wish they would've done these figures instead. The deluxe doll looking ones I might get though because with the bigger scale they have a better opportunity for detail on those. I'm thinking of picking up the McCoy when I get a chance.

The Salvation figures look terrible and I'm not gonna bother with them. Those Neca T2 figures are sweet though. If I find them, I'll get them. I was always mad at myself for not getting the T3 figures when they came out.

I'm not buying any Star Trek, and those T4 figs are a frikkin' joke. I found a John Conner with goggles and a helmet? How is that him?? I'm sure he didn't sign off on his likeness, but c'mon man, Your action figure has to look like you. And how do you produce an action figure line without the STAR of the film?? Dumb.

liked da star trek movies but hav no plans on buyin any merch. would like 2 buy sum terminator merch but havent seen any worth buyin. stuff on toy shelves is 2 cheap n plasticky.

went to Walmart and picked up pretty much the entire 6" Terminator Salvation line:

T-1
T.R.I.P.
T600
T700
Marcus Wright
John Connor w/T600 torso
Skynet Hunter Killer

and not sure if you guys have seen the 5 foot cardboard cutouts of the T600 at 7-11 but the one down the street from my house is selling me theirs on Monday. So can't wait to pick that bad boy up, add all of this to my slurpee cups, bobble heads and TShirt, and I've got a nice Salvation collection going
