Crap loads (why the hell do you think Termnator Salvation is PG-13?). I've seen both lines up close. The Star Trek role play stuff (phaser, tricorder, communicator) and the Enterprise model will be mine at some point. On the figure front I'll probably be getting the 1/18th scale stuff. But because Playmates are a pack of f-ing *****e bags and don't put the playset parts in non-US Star Trek figures I'm going to have to consult the internets for them. For terminator I'll probably get the T-600, a few T-700's (3-5), and the Terminator RIP.
You know, I was looking at them and thinking....'I thought these had playset parts' I didn't bother looking in to it too much...but you answered it for me.
I kinda hate why these toy companies seem to try and think of ways to screw us in Canada.
Case in point - "Well the Canadians dont need the playset of the bridge"....So we go and buy it American online, and not from the store....so it doesn't sell as well, so they don't stock it next time.
The recent wave a DCU, I was actually there for the opening of a box, something I've never witnessed in store before, but it confirmed my Suspicions...I was there thinking Yay, full set, I will buy them. But no...a box of six yeilded, 1 Dr Impossible, 1 Miracle Man.......and 4 more Miracle Man....all with the same BAF piece......So yeah, Folks'll just buy the whole set online, they wont sell well in the store, and then the wont even get the in the future.....Same thing goes for randomly choosing one figure.....say bullseye to just not include in the cases to Canada.
And the same thing goes for the lateness......I get tired of waiting when something is already out in the US, So I buy online....it finally comes to a Canadian store, folks don't buy it as they already got it.....and the store doesnt stock it in the future.......but I'm just a collector, what to
I know about how I affect the market?
