The Dark Knight What Tricks Will Joker Have Up His Sleeve???

"give me Batman or Gotham will burn etc" -> Dent announces himself as Batman -> Joker crashes party, Bruce hides Dent -> Joker makes off with Rachel -> Semi chase -> Batman and Gordon arrest Joker -> Batman stops Dent killing Joker -> Escapes jail via "xmas lights" -> Joker blows up a mall, more threats -> Dent scarred -> National Guard brought in, people evacuated -> Civilians and Prisoners exit via bridges and the boats -> Joker forces Gothamites on boat to choose -> Batman saves the day -> Dent finale

So the Joker gets arrested twice in this film? He's hardly still at large at the end of this/at the start of the third?

I'm hearing rumors that Joker does the scarring, say it ain't so!

I hope Joker uses his "Joker venom" in the movie. (Hmm... maybe scarecrow helps him makes it and actually becomes the first victim? [Hope not...kinda])

Where did Excel get it from? A complete guess?

I've no idea, if you search hard enough it's buried in the threads somewhere, it was to do with Jow's spoiler... I was under the impression THAT was the spoiler....

Well it IS a REAL rumor!!!

LOL!

I just don't know if it's a TRUE rumor!

Let's hope it's false. I mean that was the biggest problem with Tommy Lee Jones (besides being in a Joel Schumacher film) is that he wasn't conflicted. He was just a spaz that flipped his coin to decide if he was going to have KFC or Taco Bell for dinner.

ill gladly share it if this for real; heres the whole thing-he wouildnt go into detail but gave a sypnosis of what in general happens. Ive added a bit to it for a full on theory-

POTENTIAL SPOILERS.....BEWARE!

At some point around the halfway mark, Batman, Gordon, and Dent meet on the rooftop. It should be noted that Dent's election plays a signifcant role; he's seen as the sort of JFK of Gotham; he;s gonna help save the city from crime. Anyways, their on the roof, and Gordon's a littlw weary about letting ihm talk to the Batman; Gordon and Dent don't get along THAT well-they get along, but there are arguments between them. Gordon doens't really trust him yet(this can be confirmed by set reports of a scene with Gordon yelling at Dent-excel)-anyways, having earned their trust, Dent is with them on the roof, talking, and Batman tells Gordon and Dent SOMETHING. Something he is going to be doing in the near future. We follow Batman on this quest, when suddenly the Joker and co. show up. What follows is the films big huge action chase...and a character dies here...so of course we forget that the Joker conviently guessed as to where Batman would be. Later, during a party scene, The Joker kidnaps Rachel while Harvey Dent tells the world hes batman. Of course, if he really meant it, in a town like Gotham he'd be killed within a few hours. But of course he has nothing to fear, to because hes really working with them. When Rachels kidnapped, Dent gets upset she was involved, and Maroni n his boys are now on trial, he threatens to talk against them unless Rachels freed. Que Dent getting mauled with the acid. Then, in Batman and Jokers final confrontation, somethings going down when out of nowhere TWO FACE shows up...Batman thinks hes there ot help when he does SOMETHING which gives away that hes really bad...thinking they have Batman cornered, Joker explains how Harvey Dent was really working for him...but Two Face has some of his own tricks up his sleeve...the ending is batman brings in the joker, but, as he says with Gordon at the end..."As we bring one in, there will always be another", meaning Two Face has indeed escaped.

bout half of thats my own thining; the general story is what I was told.

Hmmmmmm.....

I don't think he's exactly crooked but what if how in the Long Halloween he....

Resorts to vigilantism at times. Well actually in TLH it was his wife who killed the criminals, but still.

the original transported man.

LOL!

Yeah, The Prestige kicks ***! Nolan's best film to date (sorry, had to interject that in there...I just watched it for the 9,000 time about an hour ago).

Are you watching closely....?

I still think his best two films are Following and Memento. I dream of one day making a low budget film that is as great as Following so maybe that is why I like it the most.

I love that the First line on the front page of this thread is "This thread is totally reasonable!"

That is certainly fair. I mean, to be fair, all of his films are masterpieces in their own right. I just think that The Prestige is the pinnacle of his talent and skill at the moment.

It's gotten to the point that you must defend your reason for starting a new thread when starting a new thread.

LOVE that film. I liked Nolan after Momento, became a big fan after Begins and the put him down as one of my favorites after The Prestige.

It's so rare that a movie that is relies so heavily on plot twists/surprises actually has strong replay value but I can watch that movie over and over again, especially when I show it to someone for the first time.

Prestige made me finally see that Jackman is a great actor, even though he was originally BORN to play Wolverine :yay:

Jackman does musical theater before he was Wolverine.... I saw him do Oklahoma... eerie huh?

i can't wait to see this joker. i hope the footage from WW is the actual trailer.
