The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster

I have to say I was surprised when this said it was filmed in North Carolina because this could have very well been another episode of Atlanta.

Imo, still not the worst of the series but also still a massive missed opportunity. Wanted something more gritty & surreal ala the original and 2003 remake but what we got here is just way too close to the atrocious mess that is TCM 3D.

The new haunted mansion film from Disney.

The effects were way better than the Eddie Murphy version, but the script and acting
( very surprising, considering the cast ) were way worse.

Effects 8/10.
Script 4/10.
Acting 5/10.

The script was so bad it almost seems like the actors made up their lines as they went along.
For those that haven't seen it, prepare to be disappointed.

The Exorcist: Believer

Ann Dowd would have saved this movie if she summoned King Paimon to fight the two Regans.

Totally Killer (2023)

A new modern slasher w/ comedy in the vein of Happy Death Day and Scream. Roasts the hell out of 1980s culture while referencing lots of movies from Back to the Future to Mean Girls while being a bit more than just a competent pastiche. I enjoyed it.

Guys.

HO.LEE. S*** . This was one of THE most nail bitingly intense movies ive seen in recent memory from start to the last frame. I am literally sitting here shaking—stunned. This movie was incredible.

This is essentially a movie about a relationship crumbling apart and thats all im gonna say because the way this relationship crumbles apart….wow.

Guys please watch this. One of the best original movies Netflix has produced.
