What was the last movie you watched? Part 2

Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School (1988)

Also watched the Cartoon Network show OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes episode 'Monster Party', originally broadcast in October 2018 - exactly thirty years after Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School was first shown. In tribute to that movie, the characters of all five featured Ghoul School pupils return for the episode. Russi Taylor (as Phantasma), Susan Blu (as Sibella), and Pat Musick (as Elsa Frankenteen) reprise their roles; Natalie Palamides and Kristen Li take over as Winnie and Tanis respectively, as Marilyn Schreffler had died and Patty Maloney had retired. Shaggy and Scooby get referenced once (obliquely), when Winnie recalls "that weird guy with the great dane".

The Killer

Cool to see that David Fincher also did the same GTA mission that I did, soundtrack and all.

MY FULL REVIEW
5/5

MAN OF STEEL (2013) Starring Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Diane Lane, and Russell Crowe. A good telling of the story of how Clark Kent/Kal-El becomes SUPERMAN. It would be a pretty good telling of the story if they rewrote or left out the character of Johnathon Kent. In all of the Superman stories I have seen (comics, movies, TV) this was the worst interpretation of the character shown.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
(2016) Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Afleck, Any Adams, Diane Lane Jeremy Irons, Gal Gadot, and unfortunately Jesse Eisenberg. A fair telling of Superman meeting Batman and Wonder Woman. It has terrible interpretations of the Lex Luthor and Batman characters. The story at times makes no sense. Eisenberg almost destroys the movie with his antics and you have to facepalm repeatedly at the stupidity of Batman throughout most of the movie and at Superman at one crucial point. Jeremy Irons is wonderful in his small part as Alfred, and it is a great introduction of Diana Prince/Wonder Woman.

JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017) Starring Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, and Henry Cavill. After the alien Steppenwolf attacks Atlantis and the Amazons to retrieve 2 of the 3 "mother boxes" on Earth, Batman and Wonder Woman try to recruit other superheroes to fight him, even the dead Superman. Ezra Miller isn't as annoying in this as he is in his solo movie.
