It's been around 20 years since I last saw this. I remember it as being pretty good. I still have the DVD of it, I'll have to pull it out and put in my "to be watched " pile. Several decades ago I read several of the books by the writers of this. I recommend them.

Tonight I watched THE KILLER (2023) Starring Michael Fassbender, Tilda Swinton, and Arliss Howard.This is the tale of a hitman missing a hit and the events this cause. I...found...this...quite...slow...and...laconic, andthenpuntuatedbymomentsofintenseaction. I've seen it....don't need to rewatch.

When DP first came out my children took me to see it for Father's Day. I don't care what anybody says, I enjoyed it.

Now that the Fox films don’t play a part in whether X-Men films survive, I was able to enjoy it a lot more. Gonna try New Mutants next .

An Unknown Compelling Force (2021)

Fascinating documentary film about the facts (as far as they are known) and theories surrounding the notorious Dyatlov Pass incident (the unexplained violent deaths of a nine-strong Russian hiking team - all students - in the remote Ural mountains in 1959). It includes detailed assessments by modern-day forensic and medical experts (both Russian and American) of the incident scene, the statements and case notes of the original investigators, the hikers own diaries and notebooks written during their trip, the developed film from the hikers own cameras, and the original autopsy findings/photographs. We'll probably never know the cause of their bizarre behaviour on their final night and their horrendous deaths soon afterwards - but whatever happened was clearly catastrophic. 9/10
