What was the last movie you watched? Part 2

I have a feeling the book it's based on was probably good, but the film is way too fragmented to form a cohesive narrative, it's atmospheric but uneven, and while it was made in 1987, Donald Sutherland is firmly in his "smell the fart" acting, 70's bag.

6/10

I'm obviously in the mood for a CBM. These DC animated movies are surprisingly decent, they're such an easy gateway into the many facets of DC Comics.

A View to a Kill Really bad, Moore was still, at least at times, fairly likeable but he just sadly was no longer believable or impressive in the action, Walken was disappointing, just decent in just 2 or 3 scenes and lacking in the rest, Moore and Walken felt like they just did it out of obligation and Roberts was terrible.

And The Incredibles Good with some parts, particularly with Hunter, Jackson and Lee very good but Mr. Incredible and too much of the story/tone was a bit too overblown-offputting, Mr. Incredible, Dash and, though Lee does well, Syndrome feeling at least a bit too overdone (as if knowing some, maybe many viewers would sympathize too much with Syndrome so overdoing the EVIL VILLAIN aspects to try to compensate/overcompensate), from back in 2004 it slightly bothered me and now it really bothered me that Bob's boss and Edna were not realistic height like the other characters.

Absolutely they are. I know someone who doesn't buy the comics at all, but loves the animated movies and shows, owns a ton of them, and most definitely qualifies as a DC fan.

Had been waiting years for this. Worth the wait. I didn't notice much different in Oren's anime sequence, but there were some improvements. The Crazy 88s sequence returning to color was a highlight, as was a line that was taken out that added to Vol. II's emotional impact.
