Peter Jackson should have kicked back for a few years after the LOTR movies .... It looks and feels rushed and jaded.

The only reason they say that is b/c both movies are popular and they're probably looking to push a few buttons on some people, hoping to incite an argument and show their great taste in movies by pointing out the faults of SR or POTC.

Judge Dredd no offense I love the character but this movie does him no justice. There was some funny parts but other then that I wouldn't show it to any Judge Dredd fan.

Ultraviolet...good god, everything i see that name i think "some many lost opportunities".

Flat space technology and the anti-gravity stuff are just killer concepts...but the movie was just so f#cking horrible.

The last really poor film I saw was Superman Returns. It had so much potential to be great, but Bryan Singer gave a very poorly written story to complement what was actually a great concept. The introduction of Superman's son was a horrible idea, as well as the genius notion to not have a supervillain, and have the climax of the film be to lift a rock. Not one great action scene other than the plane sequence in the trailers.

Superman deserved better than what this film gave us. The film is flat, boring, and underwhelming, IMO.

we say this because we have "opinions"..I'm very sorry you disagree with our "opinions",but some of us disliked "the crap of steel and pirates".sorry to piss on your supes and pirates parade.Superman's plot was just horrible,and making him have a son,cmon now.But the final nail in the coffin for me was the big "ending"...lets move a big rock into space..yeah sure.Lets see supes fight..doomsday, or lobo..hell parasite..anybody.And as for pirates well..just wasnt good as the 1st one in my "opinion"..not enough jack, too much of will and home girl, the plot was silly.Just a terrible movie

Yeah, POTC2 was just bleh - I really don't see how this film is making all this cash, it's like the Phantom Menace making all that money. But then again, I wasn't a fan of the first one either - it took me two viewings to get through it without falling asleep.

By supervillain I meant someone ala Brainiac, Metallo, Parasite, Darkseid, etc. Luthor's an important part as well, but someone that could have provided a great superbattle would have been good.
