What we know about Thor 2 from the Avengers...

Alright...got my blu-ray copy yesterday and I have FINALLY seen The Avengers...lol.

Quick question, does anyone know how much time has passed between Thor and The Avengers?

Quick question, does anyone know how much time has passed between Thor and The Avengers?

Almost one year. Someone has worked it out based on information in the movies, dating everything from the Grand Prix of Monaco, from Iron Man 2, as well as the rough timeline Marvel released.

In general, they seem to have a given movie take place about 1 year before its release date (which tends to coincide with when it was filmed). That implies that the events of Thor 2 will be/are set in the fall of 2012.

HaHa... I have a very nice 60" HD/3D TV at home with excellent surround.

Plus, movies are so expensive these days, I just try to be patient and wait to buy it on blu-ray. I know....I'm cheap, but I'm trying to buy a house in CA.

You actuall spend more buying the Blu-Ray than actually going to the theater. (This ofcourse assuming you don't have kids to take to the movies)

No kids, but add in a dinner, cost of gas, and concessions, etc... and it usually ends up being a $100 night when all is said and done.

Just to add, I just checked my email and I my 3D copy of The Avengers was on 19.99. Apparently, since I pre-ordered I was guaranteed the lowest price. Yippee!
