The Dark Knight What We Know So Far

Gordon: 'There's been a series of jewel robberies....'
Batman: 'Stop right there, Jim. The Joker has killed the Mayor, Commisioner Loeb, Rachel Dawes, blown up a hospital and two barges, and while we now have him locked up, the DA has been scarred and gone nuts, killing all the gangsters around, and is still missing. And with all that going on, you want me to track down a jewel thief? Shove it up your a$$, Jim.'
Gordon:'... I was only asking.'
Batman: 'And you never will again.'

Seriously, though, I feel that Two-Face is obviously going to be the bad guy in part III, so it doesn't have to be a subtle allusion. IMO.

:pal:

Yeah, that is classic. Just make sure after, "And you never will again," he turns and glides off just like in Begins. :D

The deviation from the comics is the it is
probably Al Rossi, not Maroni, who throws the acid, even though it is Maroni's trial.

That just seems like a really pointless deviation to me.

Hi, I'm new here! I'm french so excuse my poor english. my name is Léo. I think this deviation makes sense.

In TLH, It's Falcone's trial, but it's maroni who throws the acid, so it is almost the same situation here. :brucebat:

:lmao: that would be funny as hell if those were the last lines of the film.

Well really it is more (here comes the dreaded and much-overused word) "realistic" for
Maroni to have Rossi scar Dent rather than do it himself. Throwing acid in the District Attorney's face in the middle of a courtroom in front of everybody is pretty much guaranteeing you're going to go to jail for attempted murder and tack a looooong time on to whatever sentence you were already going to have.

Bigger Maroni spoiler:

Having a loyal underling "take one for the team", so to speak, lets Maroni off the hook and leaves him with a chance of being acquitted, which he apparently is, as Two-Face ends up wacking him in his limo.

Exactly.

Gordon: 'Oh come on man, he stole my moustache!'
Batman: 'And your family jewels while he was at it.'

We're mostly Americans. Excuse our poor English, too.

Probably been said but I don't think Two-Face isn't scared with acid. In the trailer it looks like Harvey's getting his face pushed into a puddle of gasoline that is about to go up. And the small glipse of his other side in the car shot makes his face look more charred like it was burned with fire. We'll see.

BLASPHEMY!

If that happens the very fabric of the universe will disintegrate, just because it did not happen as it did in the comic books. God cannot let that happen, will not let that happen, and cannot let that happen. Ad infinitum.
Just kidding.
Maybe.

It is all good to me as long as it's good on film.

yea I know in the today show interview he states that half his face is burned by acid. Also in other interviews he has also claimed about acid. It would be weird though if he does get burned by fire but highly unlikely since he has already said multiple times that he is burned by acid.
