Jonathan....nice pick,, never heard anybody not really liking the name Jonathan. Of course i would be biased towards the name.

"Seven? Yeah, I guess I could see it. Seven. Seven periods of school, seven beatings a day. Roughly seven stitches a beating, and eventually seven years to life. Yeah, you're doing that child quite a service."

I must confess to this... I always named my pets the opposite. I had a dog that i named cat. Anytime I had people over it was funny when they asked my dogs name. They would give a look that was priceless.

i will have 3 boys named

spike
razer
butch

and 3 girls named

rose
crystal
diamond

ive thought about this for a long time and these are the perfect names

So, you want to name your kids after Pokemon games?

(And a turtle, and a paintor).

Cronos

Nope. Mann. [BLACKOUT]Slender[/BLACKOUT].

:awesome:

Call him Michael, then everybody can have thematic conversations with him at diners.

Anyway, if I have a son he will be named Gideon.

Trevontay for a boy, and Jaylee-Lyn for a girl. :o

But seriously...

Boy: Geoffrey, Dominic, Jasper, Theodore, Benjamin, Oliver, Duncan

Girl: Elizabeth, Madelyne, Frances, Evelyn, Allison, Olive, Leona, Phoebe, Hazel

Girl:
Rosaline (shortened to Roz)
Aurora
Jasper
Andrea (shortened to Andy)
Corra

Boy:
Jerry
Mason
Edgar
Lucas
Skyler
Bastion
Clark

...Jasper's a boy's name.

I really wish I could name my son Castiel without the danger of him getting picked on for it. I'd probably just end up naming him after me or my grandfather.

I've always liked the names Kara and Katherine for girls.

I'm a junior so I would feel obligated to name my son Darthphere III.

I approve of your name selections. Many of them are classic, yet slightly unconventional.

I kinda like the name Darwin for a boy. Artemis also has a nice ring to it (but I'm not sure whether it's better as a boy's name or as a girl's name).

There are plenty of other precious stones you can name a girl after. Why take away one of the few masculine names?

When people give boy's names to girls, that name stops being a boy's name after a while. When was the last time you met or heard of a guy named Madison or Aubrey? I think Madison is a cool name, but I had to take it off my list because everyone thinks of girls when they hear that name.

I think it is. I think it refers to a mythological female (I'd need to check)...

You're probably thinking of the Artemis of Greek mythology.

...and I've seen it used for boys, but also only in a fictional context (Artemis Gordon).

Same. Just replace Artemis Gordon with Artemis Fowl.

I thought Artemus was the male spelling.

I really don't put much importance into names whenever if I have kids I really don't care. It's up to her
