What would you do if metahumans were real?

So you're out with friends and plan to get something to eat. At the restaraunt or whatever, as soon as you guys are about to chow down, the wall shatters and debree and smoke are everywhere. You don't know what's going on and before you can figure it out you see a guy in front of you holding a car.

A super just saved your life.

Before you even can form words and say thank you, the guy has flown/ran/swung away.

So question: What would you do if supers were real? And not fakes like in that other thread. I mean real metahumans.

We know very little "facts" about science. It seems to me that about 75% of it is theory and "most likely" not 100% fact. And of that which we understand, (hypothesis, theory or fact), and consider "science", it's only an even smaller percentage of the universe around us.

So an evolved humanoid could arrive on earth and be our Superman. What if aliens came and they weren't green or ugly or weird, but looked just like us but made of different stuff. Hold different stregnths and powers on top of our own. So if they came and one or two decided to stay. If the government already knew about this stuff...Rather aliens or something else.

It could happen. But even if you disagree...Whatever the case what would you do?

Then he proceeds to tell the old saying: where does a 400 pound elephant sit? It's sort of like that. If someone had the power to cause that much devestation, I'd head for the hills. If it was me, I'd tell everyone else to do the same.

In any case, if a humanoid alien came down here and was our superman, they wouldn’t be a meta human; they’d be an alien.

If meta humans did become a thing though, I suspect there’d be an agency like the avengers who dealt with dangerous metas, cause at the end of the day, metas are people too, and we come in, and from all different shades and backgrounds.

If I had powers, I’d use them for good, best I could. If I didn’t have powers, I’d be hopeful that there’d be enough heroes out there to keep the meta villains in check.
