Skyfall
9-9.5/10
Not much to say that hasn't been said, but I'd definitely rank this one among the best Bond movies. The departure from Bond saving the world to a more personal storyline was a risk that paid off; it got into the core of the character (and M, too) in a way that was meaningful for longitme fans of the series and people who had never seen a Bond film before. Bardem was terrifically menacing as the villain, and the emotional impact of his antagonism to Bond and M made up for a couple plot points that might push suspension of disbelief pretty far ([blackout]this kind of thing tends to happen with "villain got captured on purpose and it's all part of the plan" plots[/blackout]). I also liked that it had a little more humor than the other two Craig films. And finally, Skyfall might the best looking movie of the whole series; Roger Deakins always brings his A-game.
