Kung Fu Panda 2 - 9/10

Great advancement in Po's story as I liked how they brought his past into it and expanded upon "inner peace" as well. More action packed and as much humor. I just love Jack Black as Po. He's up there with Woody as one of my favorite animated characters ever. And how do you top Ian McShane as the bad guy? You get Gary mother****ing Oldman to voice the bad guy.

I was expecting it to be a laughable movie but it turns out even with the silly premise this movie holds out strong. It made me laugh, not at the film, with the film. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito were great, they kept that buddy relationship since Twins which was awesome to see. Also Emma Thompson's performace was more than I was expecting. As a nerdy goofy scientist, she pulled it off well and I gotta say, she looked great.
8.5/10

Killer Elite

This movie just bored me to tears which is rare for an action film. It isn't over the top yet it feels ridiculous. Robert De Niro has a few scenes that tried to save the film but the problem is that he was barely in it.

I absolutely despise this film, I had to stop the film and finish it later on two occasions. Everyone represents pretty much the *****ebag white subculture and it pains me to watch these idiots do whatever they do. Yeah I get what the "message" is in the movie but I can't stand it on principle.
2/10

Starz Inside: The Face is Familiar

Cool little show about character actors.

Moneyball.
I really liked it. Great performances, perfectly written and it's never boring.
Very good.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. 8/10

Is William Fitchner prominent? I'll stand by the fact he deserves to be a leading man to my dying day.

The Shawshank Redemption.
Perhaps the single greatest film ever made, always good to lift my spirits.

Feast (2006), my score 7.5
Feast 2 (2008), my score 7
Feast 3 (2009), my score 7

Tower of Death, a.k.a Game of Death II. WTF?

First half 4/10
Second half 8/10

He's not in it at all actually. It had a lot of scenes with Michael Madsen, Danny Trejo and Luis Guzman. Also had a lot of Stephen Tobolowsky.

Warrior - 8/10

I prefer The Fighter but this is a kind of sports movie that I can get into. I liked the atypical story of focusing it on two people instead of one, and making them brothers makes it even stronger. Nick Nolte and Tom Hardy were the standouts for me. And it only made me want to see Tom Hardy as Bane even more. I had to watch The Dark Knight Rises trailer afterwards.

The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (American version)--8/10.

Some choppy storytelling and pacing mars an otherwise fine mystery. Mara more than holds her own against Rapace's performance and Fincher's sense of visuals is as strong as ever.

The Blues Brothers (1980) - extended version
