Just watched Horrible Bosses. Hilarious! So funny seeing Jennifer Anitson in her role as the one guy's sex crazed perverted boss. Funny movie all around.

Planet of the Apes (Original): 3.5/5

Rather entertaining to watch Charles Heston overact :p rather entertaining film though.

Fright Night original and remake. Both pretty good though I think I actually prefer the remake. As much as I love Chris Sarandon, Colin Farrell was phenomenal and Sarandon's cameo was hilarious holy crap age has been fantastic to that guy. I do have a quick question for anyone who saw the remake in 3d, was the 3d any good? They definitely do a lot of things coming towards the screen which would seem like it would be entertaining for the 3d audiences.

Moneyball - 9/10

After seeing this while actually being completely awake, I understood things a hell of a lot more this this time, especially themes where I couldn't believe I didn't even see those. As someone who doesn't like sports or baseball, it's a great story that makes me admire the hell out of Billy Beane. Doing something different in the hundred years of baseball with a team that no one had much faith in was such a huge risk. I can't even imagine the pressure, not to mention the doubt from the older managers on his own team. It just goes to show that anything new will be treated with hostility. But how can you know that it doesn't work unless you try it? Now I can see what is making Brad Pitt get the Oscar buzz. Tough, with a lot of faith. There's a lot going on in his eyes too. It's very subtle performance, but to the point where the Academy can see it. Jonah Hill gave a very impressive performance, and he works great with Brad Pitt. They're a good team from behind the scenes. I must also add it has perhaps the best cinematography of the movies of 2011. Wally Pfister does wonders with natural lighting. My only criticism that still remains is that it drags on in the middle, but other than that, it has a good pace.

I watched the first episode to Season five of the Wire.

And the Other Woman.
6/10

Mediocre and kind of annoying movie. It got better as it went along though so I'll give it that.

The Last Castle

Highly entertaining movie, with some great performances, but a lot of "wait, how did they prepare that?" moments, just felt like cheating a bit. Some unrealistic character decisions and themes, for overall it's a good movie.

Not exactly a movie, but I last watched:

8/10

Watched it to celebrate today's date. I'll have my all-day F13 marathon in April, which is also a Friday The 13th this year.

The Ides of March (8.5/10): good movie. To be honest the highlight for me was Goslin; i thought he was awesome in this.

Johnny English Reborn

I love Rowan Atkinson, but this was one of his worst. It wasn't as good as the previous one (which is good, not great). He's still funny, is just that the material around him is not up to his level. Mr Bean's Holiday is the perfect example of how a good, intelligent and coherent script can turn his characters into something more than tv-material.
