Yeah, I still want Ryan Gosling to be the next Batman. He's just so damn compelling and fascinating to watch, it's exactly what an actor needs to play Bruce/Batman.
I don't want someone with the name Gosling to play Batman.

Not exactly a movie but after a year of having Iron Man 2 on Bluray I finally got around to watching the special features on it, as I get older I notice I'm not really caring for all the behind the scenes SFX done with computers versus old school on set practical SFX.

Yeah I have to admit that modern day making of just isn't as intriguing as the making of yester-year's films. Seriously, the behind the scene stories of the 1989 Batman are far more fascinating than a lot of today's behind the scenes special features.

Brave

7/10

A solid Disney-style fairy tale, and it manages to still feel inspired despite being way less ambitious than most Pixar movies. I thought Merida was kind of unsympathetic toward the beginning, though, and that made it a little hard to go into.

Avengers.

I don't own a television set/dvd player or have the capability for netflix on my laptop. If I did I'd probaly watch a ton more movies. My next movie will be TDKR. Incidentally, that may be my last movie of that kind. I'm at a point in life were I'm getting turned off even by on-screen cinematic violence.

Tekken 6/10

I liked some of the fight scenes and look of the film . Also thought it was amusing that Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa( Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat ) played Heihachi Mishima and was overseeing the tournament. I'd say it's better than Street Fighter but not Mortal Kombat. It's been a long time since I've played the game so inconsistencies didn't bother me. I was annoyed how they seemed to forget their own tournament brackets.

Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter

While flipping through the Previews comic shop catalog about 2 years ago a title for a new book made me pause.
It was titled Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter ,i thought it was amusing that someone would use a historical figure
as a vampire hunter. Then i thought would this work as a film? When the trailer hit and was met with laughter from
the audience each time it played in the theatre,i said maybe this wont work.
But surprisingly it does work for the most part, and i rather liked this mash up of history and horror.
As Lincoln Benjamin Walker who has such a resemblance to Liam Neeson i half expected him to say the line
from Taken: I will find you,and i will kill you!! does a fine job as the 16th Prez of the United States
I also liked the inclusion of William Johnson (Anthony Mackie),friend and personal valet of Abraham Lincoln.
Peppered with terrific action sequences ALVH is a fun action romp.
It begins to go off the rails when Abe seems to becomes Neo from the Matrix and walks away unscathed from romps that
would even make The Hulk's nose bleed. Some extremely predictable turns also take away from the film.
Still far better than what i thought it would be

BRAVE

Who doesnt want more than what is fated to them?
Beautifully animated, great voice work, charming and cute.I was completely pulled in by the films high spirited heroine
Princess Merida, with her flowing red locks, and skill with the bow and arrow.
Brave's heart is in the right place but the film does falter when it goes down a path i have seen in about a dozen
other fantasy and sci-fi films.
Scale of 1-10 a 7½

Snow White & The Huntsman (2012) - better than I was expecting actually, even if it did start to look like a mash up of Excalibur, Highlander, Legend, Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia after a while.

Planet of the Apes (1968)
