You know, I thought Jack & Jill was complete and utter crap until I realize that I was laughing at the absurdity of the film the entire time I was watching it. I don't know if I gave it a 0/10 or a 10/10.

The only things I enjoyed in the movie were Norm Macdonald's cameo and Al Pacino's performance.

The TV always played B grade action films.

That's explains a lot. :woot:

It was terrible but I couldn't help but laugh a few times. I thought Sandler did a good job of playing Jill. The stuff with Pacino was just bizarre.

Sleepwalkers

The start of my Halloween watch list. I hadn't seen this in it's entirety before. I thought it was decent but it's definitely not among Stephen King's best. It was a good premise but some it seemed really silly ( cats being the hero of the story was somewhat laughable). Although I liked the ideas behind it and the gore was a highlight. Also the lead actresses were believable. The cat monsters are more weird than scary though. I guess that's how you could describe the film.

7/10

The Neverending story...SPOILER,,,,,the title lies, i was pissed when the credits started to role. I felt jipped

The Descent: Part 2

Not terrible, but just feels like a weak version of the first one in every aspect.

Alien (1979)

Nice combo. Quest for Fire was an early childhood favorite of mine. I've watched it again recently and have just now noticed that Jean-Jacques Annaud directed it and that it was Ron Perlman's first movie role. Now I'm going to have to go back and watch Ice Pirates.

They're both good films. "Quest For Fire" is also a rare hero role for the now retired Everett McGill (formerly of the David Lynch stock company) as the lead caveman. In his audio commentary Ron Perlman remarked that one of the hardest things he had to do for the film was carry Everett McGill slung over his back because McGill was a lot bigger and heavier than him.

Twins of Evil
A pretty decent vampire flick with Peter Cushing really selling the film...along with the twins. It's got a great atmosphere especially during scenes where they were burning the "witches".
7/10

31 Days of Horror Marathon
Day 1: Piranha 3D - 8.5/10
Day 2: Twins of Evil - 7/10

Cross of Iron

Absolutely brilliant. One of the best war movies ever made.

Goldfinger: 5/5

Probably my favourite Connery Bond film. Everything just flows so much better and Connery seems more comfortable in the role (though he already was before).

First Saw movie, again
It's awesome, but if one watches any of those movies for the story, it's watched for the wrong reason
