Expendables (Extended Cut)

A superior version to the theatrical version by very little. Some dialogue was re-edited for the better along with the awesome opening title sequence.
8/10

Tactical Force

Steve Austin and Michael Jai White aka Black Dynamite in the same movie? sounds awesome but it the result was very meh. The film plays out as a action comedy but the comedy falls flat almost everytime. Since it's a low budget film I can forgive some things with the performances and the action but it just feels empty.
5/10

The Raid

Since I got the EX2 release date shaft so I had to satiate my blood lust. Any potential remake could be really good, simply by making the film a melting pot of martial arts styles.

The Avengers

I've had a physical condition during this spring and most part of the summer, which hindered me to go and see The Avengers (I was good enough when TDKR came out though, which I managed to watch at the theaters.) But all of a sudden I stumbled over this DVD-release "somewhere" this evening, which I "cooked" and just had to watch when I came home after a great night out.

It is FRAKKING wonderful. I will of course rewatch this flick completely sober, but still (yeah, I was actually almost sober) I could tell that The Avengers is a great CBM, and also a great entertaining high octane action flick even regardless the superhero geekiness. I was at first a bit worried that Black Widow and Blackhawk as non super powered beings would be overshadowed by the others, but those characters also had great moments.

Frakking wonderful movie. Did I already say that? RDJ is the usual charming himself, and Hiddelston does an awesome villain. I wasn't really impressed by Thor and Captain America, prolly 'cause they were overhyped here (as usual), but this flick is something completely different than those two.

Very well, now we have to look forward to The Avengers 2 (and of course I'd love to see a JL movie after this, but of course that seems very unclear and far away atm).

A Patch Of Blue - 9.5/10
Wonder Woman(2009) - 8.5/10

The Man Who Wasn't There.

Eh. Why are the Cohen Brothers so dedicated to making unoffensively mediocre filmmaking?

Short internet films count? I saw this one

Punisher: Dirty Laundry

The Godfather Part II

Mike is vicious. Vito's history was fantastic.

That would be a dream I don't see happening sadly. The remake will botch the intensity from The Raid.

The Expendabes 2 :exp: / :exp:
