The Cabin In The Woods

Very good!

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Cabin in the Woods - really enjoyed it.

Mirror Mirror - great visuals but quite hokey overall.

Friday the 13th (1980)

First of my 31 days of movies.

Fun-fact...This movie is the reason my name isn't Jason.

The Goonies

Continuing my run of finally seeing Amblin style 80's flicks I'd never seen. It was awesome. Just as good as Back to the Future. I'll be seeing E.T. for the first time soon too!

Silver Bullet

Forget Alien vs. Predator, forget Freddy vs. Jason, drunk ass Gary Busey vs. Werewolf is where it's at! Hilariously cheesy!

I love when he's playing cards with his nephew and tipping back a bottle of liquor.

Piranha 3D

After seeing the sequel first, I thought I would check out the original. It's actually a much better film, where the sequel goes complete dumb insanity, this one is legitimately a good horror film. The main characters are likable unlike the sequel and it's got some nice gore effects.
8.5/10

31 Days of Horror Marathon
Day 1: Piranha 3D - 8.5

21 Jump Street

8.5/10

I cracked up through the whole thing. The jokes were very clever (Nick Offerman's scene was brilliant), the action was a lot of fun, and I found myself genuinely caring about the characters. At the end of the year, this will probably still stand as one of the movies I enjoyed the most.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance....absolutely terrible.

Prodigal Son (1982)...absolutely fantastic

:wow: How have you not seen either of these films. They were among my most watched list as a kid.

Eckhart's performance is greatly overlooked. His turn as Two-Face is really powerful.
