I for one loved it, but I didn't have that high of expectations for it, I was just generally looking forward to seeing another Ridley Scott movie.

Prometheus

Not exactly the film I was prepared for but it was fantastic nevertheless. Amazing atmosphere, great cast (especially Fassbender), and for what it was...a great story. My major complaint about this was the heavy exposition throughout the film except for the very end where you were waiting for the big reveal but it fails to deliver all the way through. Though I am excited to see what's next, with what they've teased in the end was really exciting.

Snow White and the Huntsman

A gorgeous looking movie, with some visuals that surprised me. The story was decent but the real star of this movie was really Charlize Theron's performance as the Queen. It's a damn shame she wasn't used more especially when the middle of the film where it started to become really slow. Chris Hemsworth was pretty good as well and really shocks me was how...decent? Kristen Stewart was in this.

Saw this yesterday before seeing Prometheus, it still holds up in some ways and it really prepares you for Prometheus.

I saw this with the gf and her kids. It was really fun and perhaps better than the second. I love the animation style and there were some good jokes. I found the seal annoying at times though,

Prometheus - 8/10

This was very satisfying to me. I honestly don't know what people were expecting. Perhaps they awaited mindblowing revelations but really, if you've been keeping up with Scott's comments about this over the years, all that's been said is seen. And it all makes sense. The story succeeds on being a science fiction film of itself with an interesting story posing interesting questions. The characters were great too. The pacing very much reminded me of Alien in a way. Slow and steady but interesting at the beginning with a heavy drum beat of a finish. By the film's end we are left with questions but are answered the main one that has been on our minds for years. Now I can sit down and watch Alien and acknowledge what transpired in that room. So this, Alien, and Aliens make a fine trilogy. But they can be separate too, as they go off in different directions. But yeah, very satisfying and it served a great purpose with some good background and furthering the story.

Jersey Shore Shark Attack - yet another classic from the folks at the SyFy channel, stupid but fun and a good time waster while you're bored.

Unstoppable - pretty good suspense movie, it's basically like Speed but with a train instead and no terrorist mad bomber.

Never before have I hated a movie antagonist in my life. It's on Netflix, if you love horror and Cronenberg-ish and overall messed up films, check it out. Great film, tough to watch at times but still is far more watchable than A Serbian Film!

A lot better than I expected and pretty enjoyable. I didn't like Taylor Kitsch very much though. The script had a few problems, the film had some pacing issues as well and a bit of a rushed ending. It was quite a great visual feast at times though.
