The Enchanted Boy (1955) -- 3/5
An old Russian animated film, loosely based (thankfully, because the book was more of a collection of tales than a coherent story) on The Wonderful Adventures of Nils.

The Constant Gardener (2005) -- 3/5
A "pacifist" revenge flick with good acting and a good (but not unexpected) bittersweet ending.

The Truman Show (1998) -- 3.5/5
Not a huge fan of "serious" Jim Carrey, but this movie works wonderfully on so many levels.

Amelie (2001) -- 2/5
It's funny! It's quirky! It's pretentious! The characters are boring! Really disappointed in this flick, but probably it's just not my kind of movie.

Dude, where's my car?

Not usually a fan of comedy movies this stupid, and generally hate movies Kutcher plays an important role in them, but I guess I should call this one a guilty pleasure, the other guy from Evolution and Road Trip ads to the movie value a lot imo

7/10

Year One was exactly like the comic. For better, and for worse. People complain about McKenzie's performance being too stiff, but honestly, I think that stilted way of speaking is exactly what fits the dialogue for YO to begin with. And Cranston's pitch perfect. Probably even better than Oldman.

How was it?

Got it on DVD no Blu-Ray version here in UK....:csad:

Anyway I really liked the movie i give it 4/5 I still like the comic a lot better. Eliza Dushku as Selina Kyle/Catwoman is great I loved her voice same as goes for Bryan Cranston as Lt Gordon. I would love to see these two reprise their role another animated or even in a live-action movie in the future. I can't say the same for Ben McKenzie as Bruce Wayne/Batman, he was fine as Bruce but as Bats I didn't like it at all. His voice didn't seem very threating but then it's the early career of Bats so I give him that. I like Bruce Greenwood he was great in the Under The Red Hood. In Y1 the animation, action sequences and the city were amazing. Oh and that Catwoman episode was great too I loved Catwoman comics so it was a great treatment to see her own story here. Lastly Robin Atkin Downes as DA Harvey Dent I thought he was good for cameo.

Lockout

For what it was I really enjoyed it, you can tell it wanted to be Escape from New York in space and it delivered. Guy Pearce as Snow was the highlight of the film for me, he wasn't trying to be the next Snake Plissken but he had a lot of jokes. The only downside is the other plot that really didn't need to be there, it ended on a odd way.

Wanderlust

It's a decent romantic comedy set in hippy town USA. For the most part it was pretty hilarious, although it feels like it's been done before but a little better.
6/10

Fright Night 2011

Better than what I was expecting. Some scenes were killed due to the awful CGI, and the usage of; blue, orange and pale green colors every shot. I believe 2011 was the year of those colors in every Hollywood flick. The cast were solid, especially Colin and Tennant with a likable Yelchin leading the flick.

Equilibrium

So equilibrium means you add dose of some medicine to your blood to be devoid of emotions. How can one feel horny? They reproduce, how do they get horny? How does a woman feel when pregnant and giving birth? Wooden and free of emotions?

Interesting concept, interesting movie, I'll give it an 8/10

American Reunion

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The original was never a classic for me, but it surprised me how consistent this movie is with the previous 3 -didn't like Wedding that much-.

Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance. Gets a little more tolerable with each viewing.

Hellraiser: Revelations

Death Race 2000
