Conan The Barbarian (1982) with commentary by Arnold Swarzenegger and John Milius.

I wish Arnold would provide commentary on all of his movies.

The Cabin in the Woods: 4/5

Such self-aware cliched and surprisingly original fun. Was very surprised by it.

The Philadelphia Experiment

The idea was good, but the execution was a little depressing at times. This is the type of movie that could benefit from a rewrite, a remake, and actually attempt to do something clever with the idea of a wormhole between two different timelines.
For me, time travel stories are so appealing. And the idea behind this movie wasn't bad at all.

Saw Super 8 again, on Netflix. I originally saw it at the theater.

I was again struck by how it was an enjoyable movie about '80s nostalgia (and '80s nostalgia for '80s movies like ET or Close Encounters of the Third Kind or the Goonies), but was still disappointed by the third act that fails to deliver on the promises of the first two thirds of the movie.

Moonraker (1979) - the first hour is actually reasonably decent but as it gets closer to the space shenanigans it becomes one of the low points of the Bond franchise again. Lois Chiles however is a plus in the film's favor.

Horror of Dracula (1958) Christopher Lee
Dracula Prince of Darkness (1966) Christopher Lee
Dracula Has Risen From the Grave (1968) Christopher Lee
