Spider-Man 2

Now THIS is how you make a mother****ing Spider-Man movie.

So couldn't they just do a non origin reboot with Garfield playing Peter as a college student? Oh, I forgot, origin films are the only kind of comic book films Hollywood knows how to make.

Or just a non origin film in high school would have done fine.

For Your Eyes Only

8/10

It doesn't have as much comedy or absurd situations as the other Roger Moore Bond films I've seen (The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker), which worked well; Moore might have had more potential as a "serious" Bond than he gets credit for. TSWLM had a better female lead and villains, but FYOO's fundamental plot was probably better.

The opening scene was really weird, though. I think Blofeld should have been left in the Connery era, rather than tossed off as a gag 10 years later

Mystery Science Theater 3000 - The Movie (1995)

Insomnia.

The Norwegian version. Pretty good. I actually think Stellan made for a much better lead than Pacino.

The Three Stooges

It was far better then I was expecting, lots of classic laughs but I wish there was a more creative story. The only part this movie I wish they got rid of was the Jersey Shore plot point. They could've easily used the Jackass guys and have better material.
7/10

Dog Soldiers

I do like that Marshall seemingly watched Aliens and thought "Man this could do without any of the femininity ****". I also love the total gallows humor of this, there's not much in the film that hasn't been done, so lets just take the utter piss out of the situation. Passing up Neil Marshall for a Predator film remains one of the dumbest mistakes in Hollywood history.

A worthy reboot with a strong lead performance and some good action, let down a tad by an average villain in characterization and visual design, plus I don't think it quite has the charm of the first Raimi Spider-Man movie.....Emma Stone is Aces! :hrt: 8/10.
