Now thats not a very good way to look at it. Lacks imagination for one, and its not as if there aren't any improvements that could be made to the suit which are actually functional.
1. I dunno about imagination, but I like it. It looks good to me.

2. I do think the suit could stand for some minor tweaking, but I don't think that's what this thread is about.

Definitely go with the Begins logo. I love the oval logo, but it's for a different movie continuity and even a past time in the comics. It'd make no sense to switch the emblem for TDK.

Concerning the chest emblem, from what I remember, they wanted to go with the Begins logo there too, but it was awkward looking on the chestpiece. So they modified it a bit to go with what we saw in the film.

Agreed. I like the chest logo, but they have to stick with being consistent, so stick with the Begins logo for sure.

Are you suggesting Batman become like Booster Gold, and sell ad space on his costume? I can see it now...

"Who are you?!?"

"I'm Batman!! brought to you by Angelfire.com! *wink*"

Would the bat really show up in the sky if you shined the light in the clouds? Seriously... I always wanted to know. Is that possible?

first of all yeah it would totally work but it would look much like it did in begins kinda blurry and hard to tell exactly what you are seeing not at all like the original bat-flicks

and to the guy who started this thread i love the batman begins logo i like it so much i got it tattooed on my arm and i didn't even love the movie all that much it is just that sweet of a bat logo

now dont get me wrong i love most of em but it is really snappy

anyhoo yeah definetly keep the begins bat logo for TDK...word!

^I liked the blurry.
It was very realistic.

Btw, the symbol already on Batman's chest.
Hell no to the oval, because I never ever liked it.

I like Begins Logo and they should stick to it.

I wonder if you'll see new weapons such as a boomerang with more of a curved feature....more like the other bat-symbol...

I wouldn't mind a chnage here as it would just be interesting to see a different angle that may represent his change of attitude or mindset....

the symbol in Begins was rough and raw....much like him as he started out with a ski mask over his face....as he changes, so should the symbol...

sort of like an evolution...

I like Begins Logo and they should stick to it.

I like it alot and think it's perfect...but it's something that can be changed and I could really care less as long as there was some form of a reason...

I mean...as long as they don't do anything stupid, like say umm...put nipples on the bat suit...I think I'll be satisfied..

Batman Begins with a twist (AKA different texture & color scheme).

That's what I was thinking. Either make the logo even darker, or lighten up the rest of the bodysuit a tad. Not really light gray or anything, but more a charcoal dark grey kind of shade.

Absolutely. I could also see Nolan going for a more blue-centric color scheme for this film seeing as how he's stated that he's going to try and mix things up for the sequel. An alternate color scheme to the very earthy browns and reds used in BEGINS would be an EXCELLENT contrast to the origin tale and would add great depth to what sounds like a really good dramatic Batman story!

Silly fools, still holding on to the last remnants of the old film series.

I think not having a symbol on his chest at all would be better, and add to the realism that they're going for in the Begins saga. Why would Bruce even bother putting a symbol on his chest at all if it didn't serve a purpose like the drawing fire away from his head thing, thats just my take on it though.

that's taking the realism too far.

Absolutely, it's gotta be the same logo used in Batman Begins. They only set it up to be the definitive icon of this film franchise. When Nolan's done all his Batman films and they're all in a big box set DVD (or by that time it'll be TOTAL DVD or something crazy like that...) that logo is going to be embossed on the cover.

Now, I do think that they can sorta play with the coloring and the texture of the logo for each film to accentuate the tone of the film as an individual entity within the series. A dark blue tint to the logo with perhaps an alternative texture to the stone one used in BEGINS.

Classic, it's much better than the BB logo, which is too dull and easily missed.

i say stick w/ the begins logo, as soon as i saw that for the first time i was confident about the movie

That could work. BR had a definate blue undertone to almost everything in it.

THe BB one is more iconic than the weak looking yellow background one.
