Well, at least now the TASM films are winning by one single point.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has the most fun swinging moments, and the best swinging.
The movements, the flips, every move he did in that duration is excellent, and I won't look at CGI because thinking of the CGI is not fair.
Second favorite movie when it comes to swinging scenes is the first Spider-Man, the way they made him move in some shots is really cool, and how they made him turn during a swing and stuff.
SNES has better visuals than SM1![]()
it appears some people in this thread are mighty heated at others' opinions.
For me:
1. Spider-man 2
2. The amazing spider-man
3. The amazing spider-man 2
4. Spider-man
5. Spider-man 3
TASM2
TASM1
SM3
SM2
SM1
Not that hard to guess why
Looked nicer, more fluid, more creative.
Still floaty as hell but better then the previous two.
If I was using a point scale;
TASM2: 9.9
TASM: 9.8
SM3: 5
SM2: 4
SM1: 2
You're not in the Tobey Zone, and the forum hasn't jumped the shark. You're just in something called reality, and it sounds like it's too much for you to handle. You want to know why Raimi's are better. They are more vibrant and life like. Spider-Man looks more alive, more fluid, and it doesn't look like he's floating. Floating is when you are suspended or moving very slowly at one level. They are also more creative. Spider-Man's swinging comeback when Doc Ock knocked him off the train was more beautiful and vibrant than anything the reboots had to offer.
The new Amazing Spider-Man movies don't have that vibrant Spider-Man like quality to them, and half the time look too SFX heavy and video gamey. They tried to be creative but they fail. That crane scene in the first movie for him to swing to the Oscorp building, that was the corniest most pointless set up for a bland swing sequence.

Agreed.
Agreed. They do the same in Andrew and Tobey thread. They get annoyed when polls don't go the way they want lol. Can't handle different opinion to their own. Think theirs is the only one that is right and everyone else is biased and wrong for not having theirs. It's sad.
I'm allowed to disagree and show my thoughts on other's opinions. If you like the raimi swinging better than the Webb, then that's totally fine. But I'm allowed to be surprised by the fact that TASM films isn't winning in this category.
I'm not talking about you surprised at it, I mean the people who say we only vote because it's not Raimi, that Superherohype forum has jumped shark and things like that. Can't accept other people just like something better that's different to them. Have to make up nasty excuses.
Two threads this happen in now when the poll not go the way the ASM fans wanted. Take it all so seriously.
I hear you, but the raimi fans aren't innocent either. I saw a user that will remain anonymous that completely disrespected another user's opinion by calling it stupid and constantly using the barfy emoticon.![]()
I know the one who always using that emoticon. It very annoying.

I will say though that the raimi trilogy, especially Spider-Man 2 had some pretty sick shots as well. This scene right here really gives me the same rush that i get from watching spidey swing in TASM films. This is awesome right here. I find that the swinging looks best in the raimi films when it's nice and short.
anything disrespectful is annoying :/
anyways, back on topic, what was your favorite swinging SCENE/MOMENT???
I love the one Kehar say about when Dr. Octopus knock Spider-Man off speeding train, and he catches it with webbing, and skids along street and then does this big swing into the air, propelling himself back toward train, running along side building and swinging. It look so beautiful to me.
