What I meant is hundred times, not films.
You see, every film has drama aspect and some funny moments, but they (jokes) can't cover the story itself, what makes it's more harder for film to be made right.
Spider-man films are way different if you compare them with Pirates. I am too tired to type all reasons, why Spidey films are better than Pirates, so that's why I'll say only one - Spidey films have the main character as cause of dramatic climax, while Capt. Jack Sparrow was supposed to be the copy of Han Solo with new look and manners. BTW, I see the another problem of Sparrow is that with every new film he becomes more and more predictable and unfunny. Having him as great character in POTC1 didn't work well in sequel, because the creators gave him too much time and part, what made him less interested.
Amen to that.
Even POTC die hard fans must admit that they tried to make Jack too funny with no avail in DMC. If you thought that the majority of his jokes were funny, then you are either devoted to the movie, or you have the sense of humor of a 2nd grader.
