Which Superman villains would like to see in the first installment of Superman 3.0?

My brain tells me that Lex/Parasite would be the best idea, but my heart wants Lex/Brainiac first because it's been in the making for the past 15 years since the Burton/Smith days.

The problem with Brainiac, where do you go from there? If it's about escalation, then you go with the biggest baddie of them all: Darkseid. But that can probably work if he's in part 2 and 3. But if he's only in part 2, what about part 3?

That's the problem with the Raimi's Spider-Man 4; if he didn't want to use Carnage, you who else do you do. The Lizard would be the option, but the Vulture? No disrespect, but that's a huge drop from the likes of Goblin, Ock, Venom, and even Sandy.

Mxy could cause more chaos than Brainiac. Something I've always wanted to see was Mxy being the creator of Bizarro World. I think that would be a good follow-up to Brainiac.

I wish. I'm not real fond of a villain being used twice as the main guy, but I'd be down for a more powerful Darkseid showing up in a JL movie, with some Apokolitian warriors invading Earth.

I wouldnt worry about where you go from there, if you have lex/brainiac in the first film (which is what it is) you just have to make the second movie differently. Everyone is concerned with getting the bigger bad guy like darkseid, but I think its more of the same, darkseid, brainiac, mongul, more or less serve the same purpose, just different looks. Having lex be the behind the scenes bad guy making parasite or metallo, and having a great public image brings a great story, not just for superman, but for clark, lois and the daily planet as well. They are reporters, like batman is a detective, and you really have the ability to focus on that by them trying to expose lex. Plus if you use metallo or parasite as a henchman of sorts you can still have great action scenes, just different from the total destruction that brainiac brings. The second film could really be superman's "dark knight".

I'd love to see Bizarro and Brainiac. I wouldn't mind Lex Luthor being in it, but I wouldn't want him to be the main villain. Maybe have him as President, pulling the strings behind the scenes or in cahoots with Brainiac.

If a trilogy then in part ONE: Mankind, Luthor, Doomsday in act 3 (also defeated and Supes thereby winning mankind's approval) and the imminent arrival of Brainiac in the end.

Part TWO: Brainiac all the way and Luthor plotting. Brainiac defeated, but not necessarily dead. Or Brainiac NOT defeated and would return in part THREE.

Part THREE: Luthor in kryptonite-powered tech-suit finally defeating Supes... almost. Would somehow like to see Luthor finally outsmarting and really challenge Superman. Would be cool to see Supes fall by the hand of a mere man.
Dunno if this one needs an even bigger foe than Brainiac. Would like to see Darkseid or Apocalypse. Otherwise Brainiac should return and be defeated once and for all.

If a stand-alone movie then mankind, Luthor and Brainiac.

Ideally I would want to Metallo in the first movie with cameo's from Lex, it would set up Lex for the second which would involve the kryptonite suit showing lex's lust for power, and to end the trilogy with brainiac and lex resulting in much like the justice league with lex/brainiac working together both with plans to back stab. It would become ridiculously epic.


As for Dark Seid, I would love to see him, but I strongly feel that Nolan would not be able to portray him well enough with his style of film. And even though he's not directing his huge amount of "influence" I think could take away from a character such as Dark Seid.

Lex and Brainiac in the first one for sure. Then, in the sequel, Metallo would be cool. Or even a War World story against Mongul. Darkseid should be used for a JLA movie, if they ever do it of course.

I'm not really a fan of the terminator like metallo, its just to similar to the terminator. I really like what there doing with metallo now in superman secret origin, which the final issue is out today and I can't wait to read it. The orange and green combinations on his costume I'm not thrilled about, I do like his mask and chest area, and if they replaced the orange with black it would really look good. I think Metallo is one of the characters that they have been struggling to nail down a design and power set for.

Luthor is still human. While the tech suit would slow superman, I have faith that a US special forces sniper with armor piercing rounds could take him out quite easily...
