Which Superman villains would like to see in the first installment of Superman 3.0?

I like how MEtallo was introduced in Johns' Secret Origins. Id like to see Lex and and Brainiac used in such a way that they could have an over-arching plotline with a real climatic finish. Always loved Timm's version of Brainiac (which in general seems too much like Galactus) but how Brainiac was to balme for the destruction of Krypton IIRC.

I honestly have no opinion. I guess the classic design but streamlined and modernized.

I really like the current design of brainiac in the comics and that could be achieved with make-up instead of CG. Actually in fantastic four 2 when silver surfer looses his board and you actually see the actor in make-up thats how I picture brainiac, only green of course.

Cereal, I like how they introduced metallo in secret origins as well and I could definately see that robot he pilots in the movie before he becomes metallo, it would be a good fight.

i really liked how the spectacular spiderman cartoon sewed the seeds of villains in their pre villain cameos. like brainiac and lex could be the villains in this movie ,and rudy jones and john corben could be members of intergang in cameos. then they become parasite and metallo in the next movie, and bring in darkseid in at the end of the 2nd to become the big bad in the 3rd.

i'm tired of Lex to be honest. If anything, Lex should be the secondary (or tertiary) villain in the background or just a cameo presence for a sequel. I really want something fresh for Superman. we got enough of Lex from the Reeve movies, animated tv show, and Smallville, lets try someone new for the big screen.

You can't discard him completely though. He's as much a part of the mythos as Lois Lane, and ought to be treated as such. That doesn't mean he has to be the primary villain though, and, for the same reasons you listed, I wouldn't really want him to be.

^ Agreed. I loved that cocoon he had in the "Superman: Brainiac" story (first pic of yours) but unfortunately that was just that. He then came out of it and he looked like a green body builder in a T-shirt. WTF?

For the first movie,I want to see Brainiac and Lex Luthor. I want to see Lex try to make Superman look like an alien menace. The people of Metropolis reject Superman's help until Brainiac shows up. Then they want him back. The sequel would involve Luthor having a larger role with Metallo being his henchman and the Intergang being his "buisness" affiliates.

yea to me certain characters dont need to be full on cgi creations. now if its something like doomsday then yea full cgi is the best route to go. But if its more humanized characters liek brainiac, to mongul, to etc.... humaniod characters then an actor in costume/makeup with cgi enhancements are the way to go. for me with brainiac i wouldnt mind if he started out just a computer and then took a machine body shape, or if they wanted to do a little cross over with him being machine but also organic like say star trek borg are.

And if not that, he could have a bodysuit with the same motif as the cocoon. But speaking of Brainiac, I don't see the need to make him exactly like STAS. Why does he have to be FROM Krypton? I think, instead of Krypton's own computers screwing them over, Brainiac should infect their computers with a virus which screws with Jor-El's data, and nobody has any idea at all what hit them in the end.

Yeah, tho I generally like it when things are streamlined, there's a part of me that feels having Brainiac be Kryptonian is a little too neat. But it isn't a big deal to me whether he's Kryptonian or Coluan.
