Which was worse?

Organic webs were great for the movie, and the goblin costume could've been better.

in order for spiderman to actually be spiderman he needs organic webbing,i had no problem of web shooters in the comics, but after the movies,it's puts the spider in spiderman

I agree. That's why I had no problem with organic webbing. It makes Peter seem more normal instead of freakishly intelligent. It makes him more relateable.

The Goblin costume wasn't horrible, but if I had to choose one to be worse it would be the costume.

Neither bothered me much, although the Goblin's costume could've been better. That cod-piece . . .

Just be glad we didn't get butt shots ala batman.

I will politely have to decline voting in this poll since neither one bothered me at all. Trust me, I saw images of the Halloween Costume Goblin idea they had tested and be glad they stuck with the body armor.

I liked organic webbing, it's much better for a movie than him making a little gadget under his glove. He got the powers of a spider, so he should have been able to spin organic webs in the first place.

I voted that the Green Goblin's suit was worse. At least Harry made it look cool later on.

both things are really, really bad.
why is organic web shooters a bad thing? they should have had organic web shooters form day one. It makes sense that if he got bit by a radioactive spider that he would develop web shooting, i never understood why the left one of the most important things like web shooting out of peters'' transformation''

But really, a kid creates super adhesive fluid in his bedroom and yet a scientist couldn't. It probably wouldn't sit well with the general moviegoing audience.

Both were bad ideas, GG's outfit was worse.

Organic webs were the best ideas ever.
I don't know why he hadn't it in the comics.
if he get the abilities of a spider...why not the damn webs!

I liked Goblin's costume...but could've been better.

It would have flown with me if it was organic in the comics from the beginning, but it wasn't, and because of that, it shows a different kind of hero entirely; Peter's ingenuity and cunning, which he uses time and again to defeat his villains in the comics. Sure emotion and super-powers plays a huge part of the character, but I like my heroes smart, and the web shooter gave him that.

I didn't mind the Goblin costume, but it would have been nice to see the classic one instead. With a moving mouth. I did like the organic webbing, it was a nice touch. Plus, it makes action sequences faster. Do we really want to have to stop to change web cartridges?

Which was worse- Organic webbing OR Green Goblin Costume?

I think I'd choose the green goblin costume because it look like crap and made no sense at all. If it was suppose to be a military outfit, then why the hell was it designed like an alien costume? The fact that there was no USA military logos on the suit anywhere made it look even less like a military suit. Plus the suit was one piece, which would make it difficult for a soldier to get in and out of teh suit without assistance.

I agree with you. Without a doubt, The Green Goblin's appearance needed much improvement. Many people pointed out the Goblin as looking like a Power Ranger. I tend to agree. The only thing that saved the character was Dafoe's excellent performance along with a great looking glider. I read where Sam Raimi was interviewed about why he chose to have the Goblin wear a helmet instead of a mask. His response,"I just couldn't see why a corporate business man would choose to wear a silly looking latex mask"....
What Mr. Raimi failed to understand here is that Norman Osborn isn't just simply a corporate business man, but an "INSANE" corporate business man. So with that in mind, yes, I could see him wearing a grotesque Goblin mask. Insanity is an excellent excuse for many thing "normal" people wouldn't do. Aside from that, I came to except the organic webs. Of all the Spider-Man movies, being a huge Spider-Man collector, this is the only one which I really appreaciated. I could care less about the two sequels.
