What's also good about HHH and Punk feuding again is that when HHH cuts his short promos to be smug, Punk won't hesitate to return the fire with shooty comments of his own.

Agreed. I also think that Trips is one of the only 3 guys currently on the roster that can go toe to toe with Punk promo-wise, so the any potential promos and build-ups should be good. The other two being Cena and Heyman.

So aparently Punk pooped his pants during the smackdown taping.

If Punk had to he'd probably burn HHH with a promo basically saying that HHH buries anyone that doesn't fit Vince's mold because it reminds him of his own failures because when their were no more coattails to ride HHH couldn't cut it and that's why Cena had to pick up the pieces. He could even say that HHH knows that deep down he was in the same boat as Edge, Jericho, RVD, Daniel Bryan, and Punk himself as guys that were talented but never seen as "The One".

Punk would really make that Promo sting so bad HHH's Nose would cry for him lol.

- Monday's episode of WWE RAW averaged 3.541 million viewers, down from the previous week's 4.135 million viewers. The first hour drew 3.616 million viewers, the second hour dropped to 3.560 million viewers and once again the third hour dropped to 3.447 million viewers. The final rating will be out later.

Third hour plummets once again....damn even with Cena,Orton, and HHH in the same segment.

Since I fast forwarded through the contract segment (hoping to see something happen), I didn't hear the crowd. Were there more Daniel Bryan chants?

Punk could hit him with a lo of home truths, but Haitch is a master at manipulating and dressing things up to seemingly make them not appear as bad as they actually are. He's a brillaint spin doctor, and as is always said, a magnificent bastard, lol.

I like WWE's YouTube channel posting old full matches from WWF/WCW/ECW/NWA and others,They are ones that usually won't make it onto dvd's cause aren't known as big time classics and relevant but are still decent-good,Cool to know IF they ever put out their network that they'll have matches like these

If Punk and Triple H have a match I hope the takes a pin from Punk. Punk hasn't beaten a top level talent in a PPV for a while and Hunter owes him a job.

WWE rushing into an important match like the unification match between Randy Orton and John Cena at the TLC pay-per-view has caused lots of second-guessing and plans being changed.

WWE officials have reportedly made multiple changes regarding the finish to that match. The original plan, as speculated, was for Cena and Orton to simply swap titles but once that was figured out pretty easily, they changed the finish again. This is also the reason why WWE went from teasing title unification to point blank stating it in less than a week.

No word yet on exactly what the finish will be but word is that they have multiple alternative finishes being considered.

It would be perfect for it to happen leading up to Wrestlemania. He wins the rumble and faces Triple H at Elimination Chamber.

WWE’s booking on the fly was a hot topic backstage at Monday’s RAW with the booking of CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. One WWE source commented how WWE has “gutted” the long-term booking of Punk and Bryan’s program, which originally had them feuding with The Wyatt Family and possibly leading to a match between the two. It was noted last week that WWE now has zero plans for Punk and Bryan to feud but with the way things are constantly changing these days, that also could change.

In one week, WWE has blown off Punk vs. The Wyatts and moved him to The Shield while also moving Bryan away from Punk and moving him to The Wyatt Family. The plan for CM Punk going forward is to possibly align him with other babyfaces to continue the feud with The Shield.

There has been talk about breaking up The Shield, and while that will happen eventually, many feel it’s just way too early.

I wonder...Guys do you think that if Pillman was still alive he could have potentially have made an HBK like return to grace in the ring or was his injury too severe? Part of me would loved to have seen Pillman have the kind of Cinderella story Michaels did in 2002.

His ankle had been fused and took away his agility and mobility, he was a shell of the wrestler he'd been, so no comeback would have been on the cards for him.

You are wrong! YOU ARE WRONG! DAMMIT, YOU! ARE! WRONG!

:argh:

I want to be wrong and for you to be right about me being wrong, but I fear you're wrong and I'm right instead of being wrong!!.... :(

I like the sound of that. WWE can't be that stupid to job CM Punk to Trips again so I think Trips puts Punk over this time.

They surely can't be that stupid. Right? RIGHT?

Right...........

Looks like nothing is sticking in that 3 hour slot for WWE, and wasn't the NFL game a blow out this week?

The NFL game was a blowout...Seattle is that good.

The next Monday Night game won't be good for the WWE either.....the Dallas Cowboys are playing on Monday. The Cowboys bring in massive ratings as there are fans of the team and people who want to see the Cowboys lose and lose bad.

I'd be down for Punk/HHH at Mania if Punk finally goes over. I actually wanted that match for WM29, but HHH just needed that Lesnar WM win. So it seems a lot is in the air for WM30. These are all the potential matches I can see happening.

Punk/HHH
Bryan/HHH
Taker/Lesnar
Punk/Lesnar
Cena/Orton(Kill me)
Cena/Taker
Cena/Punk
Cena/Bryan/Punk

I'd be ok with any of these.(Besides Orton/Cena.) As Hunter Rider has said before, Orton really is the odd man left out.I could see a scenario where it's Shemaus/Orton if Jericho does not return. Also I read there was a Sting/Kane rumored match up. If they can get Sting and he doesn't want to lose his first match to Taker, Orton is an ideal opponent. Orton gets a big name and Sting gets a big Mania win.

Thoughts on some of the news...

While last minute, I think they intentionally separated Bryan and Punk once they realized how much over they were together compared to the main-event scene.

CM Punk/Triple H is two years late, and they have to work to build towards it. It could be good, and Triple H owes Punk a job. But that cements Orton vs Cena even more as the main-event. I have a hard time seeing adding Daniel Bryan to it. It'd be nice though.

I do hold a glimmer of hope that the confrontation between Orton and Bryan on Smackdown and his inherent confrontation with HBK will lead to good things for Bryan in Mania season but that glimmer of hope is microscopic right now

Unless they have truly convinced HBK to come out of retirement, I don't see where this storyline can go, especially since Triple H/CM Punk is rumored now.

Hopefully Bryan winning the rumble and facing the Uni-Champion?

That time is almost here: the yearly "Will Sting be in WWE?" rumors.

My friend told me a very interesting theory/rumor/fantasy booking he saw yesterday...

Bray Wyatt is a face.

The family is crazy and has weird tactics, but they are trying to recruit and build an army against the evil establishment the Authority. They are trying to get Daniel Bryan to be their new soldier and champion against the Authority.

Oh, and Corporate Kane... He's a double agent for Wyatt.
