Who could be cast as Moon Knight?

Then definitely Joaquin Phoenix would be perfect for this role but then again he doesn't want to be tied down to a comic book franchise, I would have said Matt Damon if he were a few years younger but then who does that leave? I would have said Bradley Cooper but he's already playing a Marvel character in Guardians of the Galaxy so, how about Joseph Gordon Levitt as Marc Spector/Moon Knight?

Eh, there are a lot of roles I'd rather see him in before Moon Knight, namely Wonder Man.

I'm a huge Moon Knight fan and if they do adapt it, it cannot be a straight forward superhero story. The notion that Moon Knight is Marvel's Batman is a huge misconception. Marc Spector truly believes that he is four different people. The voice, the mannerisms have to be different for all four different personalities. Marc is beyond tortured and his psyche is severely fractured. He was honestly not a good person before Khonshu(possibly) revived as he killed for money. The casting search has to be extensive as they would basically be casting multiple roles.

KDM mentioned James Purefoy and now I can see no one else in the role. The man has the talent to brilliantly pull of everything needed for Spector. He'd be perfect, I'd love it.

Seeing that Marvel has already cast all of its major superhero roles for its Neflix series, the next logical superhero for them to adapt is Moon Knight. And as it looks more and more like this will be a Netflix show, the natural casting would be a lesser known actor I.e. Not a blockbuster a lister but more an actor with acting chops from a critically acclaimed TV show or at least one that is pretty gritty. One fan casting that has come to my attention is:

Banshee's Antony Starr for Marc Spector.

He even looks like Marc Spector.

I don't know that much about Moon Knight's character, but Rami Malek would be awesome as anyone so yeah, go with him.

and it would be great that Night At The Museum's Pharoah is playing an Egyptian-god-powered Moon Knight

Yeah. Only thing I would worry about is it might be difficult for him to do if Moon Knight ends up being a Netflix series (this was rumored a little while ago). Malek already has a TV show so scheduling might be problematic. Additionally, he'd have to put on a good bit of muscle, which would complicate things even further, since he's supposed to be a scrawny drug addict on Mr. Robot.

Well no, but here never is til they do something with their characters. That's how it works.

Moon knight has definitely been one of those characters their editorial side has pushed has deserving more prominence

To the contrary, you typically see talk about possibilities as much as years before anything happens. AKA Jessica Jones TV talk predated Avengers. Black Panther and Captain Marvel had chatter from Marvel Studios long before either movie was announced. Etc.
