Ok, what's the rating for this film? PG? Even at a 15+ rating, I don't think Warner Bros. have the guts to kill a child on screen.
I don't see it happening. Unless it's all sugar-coated for example: the kid sacrifices himself by exploding into a bright white light etc etc kind of BS.

I tell you I still find it really weird, that the kid being Supermans' wouldnt there be alot more buzz about him the kid actor, if he's meant to stick around for any sequels, I'd think being son of Superman would gather him much attention from the Media, all wanting to know about this kid and how he feels about the project, I mean his casting would have to be as important as Supermans, quite a load to bear for the kid, unless Singer has this kid in hiding somewhere so as to not spill the beans about him to the general non-internet movie going audience.

Well the media probably doesn't know outside what mo said and they can't use that as if it's what will happen in the film since it's only the script that one person claims to have.

It is PG-13. And in Harry Potter 4 there was death, so I dont think it is impossible that the kid will not die.

He can die saving Superman from some blast or something else.

Superman DOES get mortally wounded in the movie...stabbed in the chest. On his deathbed...


Obviously Superman wont die...... but I have a STRONG feeling the kid will be linked to his recovery...

And the kid will be sacrificed somehow.


By the end of the film, everything will go back to normal..


Superman will have to stay on Earth, to be there for Lois too...

Because most kids make movies lame and can't act. I have no probs with good child actors who's characters are directly relevant to the story. I'm sure there's a good story behind this kid.

The kid is clark's kid, he even look's like Clark when he was little. He's even wearing a fannel plaid shirt .

I honestly think the kid looks more like Chucky from the Child's Play movies in that picture.

Hey I had no problem with the kid who played young Bruce in Batman Begins....he served his purpose and conveyed alot of believeable emotion on his face...


Of course, you wouldnt know that based on the trailer alone..

I bet five bucks monopoly money with Venom and he says he'll wait to pay me until he's seen it in the movie. I said ok but Mo confirmed it in the script and I think that's solid enough proof. Why write all those words about jason being supe's kid and never use them? if there was ever a doubt that jason wasn't supe's thn they wouldn't have bothered putting him in the middle of all the chaos like this. Imagin how superman would feel if Lex luthor hurt his son.
