I'd like to see Chameleon as a side villain that messes with Spidey's public image when everything seems to be going his way.

Same. He can be real fun for Spidey to take down as well as good humor and visuals.I wanna see shocker so bad![]()
https://mobile.***********/TheInSneider/status/721109346281607168?p=vConfirmed two villains?! Where?!
Nah. I know you're talking about that non-white Spidey thing, but Marvel did in fact audition non-white actors and Sneider was just guessing anyway. They seem to be trying to make up for it by going heavily diverse with the supporting cast.I'm 95% sure Sneider is full of it...
Vulture as main and Shocker as side, please. And while I was originally against two villains per film, I think that's their best course of action. Give us three films with that and give us a fourth film dedicated to The Sinister Six that they're keen on having adapted.
I'd go for:
- Vulture/Shocker (first film)
- Mysterio/Chameleon (second film)
- Doc Ock/Beetle (or Sandman) (third film)
Fourth film can be an ensemble film having Spidey/Avengers vs. Sinister Six with the next 'solo' being Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin.
Effectively sets up Sinister Six without cluttering the movies. That's the route they're going anyway, so...This isn't confirmation lol. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if there were another smaller villain other than Vulture, but not gonna take this as confirmation. Confirmation is a press release lol.https://mobile.***********/TheInSneider/status/721109346281607168?p=v
Boom.
That's exactly what I'm saying. He'll get some vague info and run with it. Which is why I don't believe anything he says. He may be right sometimes, but he assumes too much.Nah. Dude has legit sources wether you share his opinions or not.
That's the guy who writes for 'The Wrap' (Trade) and broke the Laura Harrier story. I'm pretty sure you can take his word for it.This isn't confirmation lol. But he never said 'it was going to happen' he was getting word from his source that Marvel were auditioning non-white actors (Which we now know was 100% true) and made an educated guess based on the fallout of the leaked emails and the fact that Pascal was in damage control mode. Nothing vague about it, just his own speculation. That's exactly what I'm saying. He'll get some vague info and run with it. Which is why I don't believe anything he says. Ewwww God no.
1 great villain with one crappy villain per film??? Odd bizarre unrelated villains, no thanks

I'd love to see Shocker pop up again and again, like a persistent, tackily dressed cockroach. He can provide some comedic relief, and really has a lot of potential to be a fan favorite. So then when the symbiote bonds with Peter, he can beat the living daylights out of Shocker to send home what's happening. Much better route than emo dancing.
Oh I know there are people out there that can get scoops. I personally just like to hold out before I get something official. Strong rumors? I'll look into. But even then official means official. That's the guy who writes for 'The Wrap' (Trade) and broke the Laura Harrier story. I'm pretty sure you can take his word for it.
Glover, Aaron Paul, or Riz Ahmed would all be great choices for Shocker. It's a great role! And that's another terrific suggestion for the symbiote, going quiet. That exchange with Shocker would be amazing!Yeah, and depending on whom they'd cast in the role, it'd give us some fun banter between Spider-Man and Shocker, too. Hence why I think Donald Glover would do well as Shocker.
And to add on your point on if/when the Symbiote would bond with Spidey, it'd be further driven home that things get serious when Shocker would ask him, "What? No banter?" in a cocky tone and Spider-Man not responding, causing Shocker to be legit terrified of him.
One of the many things that Spectacular got right was that scene between Symbiote Spidey vs. Sinister Six where Spider-Man was completely quiet due to the Symbiote having him on auto-pilot. I'd love to see that considered for future use if we ever get the Symbiote.
Edit: Like a balanced mix between what the TAS did with the Symbiote and Spectacular.
Chameleon/Mysterio are way too similar to be in a film together.. Mysterio can do anything Chameleon can but in spades. Keep Chameleon and kraken together, considering they're half brothers and all...

What's wrong with Chameleon?
