Homecoming Who should be the Villain in Spider-Man (2017)? - Part 4

Could Michael Keaton be playing Richard Parker as a villain who turns out to be not dead? Maybe he's responsible for Uncle Ben's death. :o

He could be playing Mysterio. Maybe this version of Quentin Beck is a washed up actor that no one cares for anymore. This becomes a driving force for him wanting to become famous again so he becomes Mysterio, mixing his acting skills with his expertise in special effects. Spidey could be considered a vigilante, making him a target for Mysterio's goals.

Birdman had a similar premise too, ironically. Maybe he is Beck.

Maybe they've combined Mysterio's and Vulture's characters into one. :o

I was kind of hoping Matthew McConaughey would get the Norman Osborn part , but that rumor is probably long gone

But Keaton as the Vulture would be cool to

Great design! Could be seen as too similar to Birdman but that could be an inside joke. :hehe:

I think Vulture could have a green version of Superman's bodysuit from MOS and BvS. That would give it a texture similar to comic book Vulture while not simply looking like feathers Then his wings could be similar to Falcon's.

If we do get Vulture, should his wings be attached to his arms or on a back pack like Falcon?

Attached, definitely. You could even have Vulture's design be the original prototype where Falcon's is the more complete, modernized version.

Vulture's look could be more sinister while Falcon's could be more military based (as it is).

The picture above gives a very intimidating feel due to how large the wings are in comparison to Falcon's. Really digging that and hope they do what they can to differentiate from him.

Just stay away from the Vulture all together, please. You have Mysterio, Kraven, Scorpion, Doc Ock, the Lizard, Gobby... Why the Vulture???

I feel the same way. Hopefully he's just a supporting villain.

You can really make any villain interesting if they're written well

I think Vulture could work

Plus, if Michael Keaton is playing him... Then there should be no problem

And again, it's just the best fit right now for this new series.

I'd like to see a Spidey film lead into Secret Wars for the MCU, just to see a decent take on Venom.

Says who? Because Falcon is in the same universe? What makes the Vulture a natural selection for the villain?

I'm guessing the "Young vs Old" Hughes-esque dynamic. But honestly, Mysterio could also fit the Hughes dynamic as well as a few other villains.
