Homecoming Who should reboot villain be? (Poll Version) - Part 1

Personally I said this a few days ago. If they go for a cross between winter solider. And cap from cap 1 and avengers 2. Type of suit. And make the goblin mask more of a mask like cap. We could easily get a more proper to comics look. Then the raimi power rangers villain knockoff. Or Webb mismatch armor hulk goblin mess.

I have no idea what they'll do with the Goblin. But whatever they do I'll support it.

I just want to see classic 626 goblin done right. Be which ever goblins. No reason they need to do a hulk goblin or power ranger type suit. Like I said was for cap if we can get something like him for goblin I be happy.

Okay, would anyone be cool if they pulled a Spectacular with Kraven and gave him the enhancing serum that made him stronger.

Yeah, it'd be nice if it just made him faster stronger and more animal like without mutaring his appearance. Same for Goblin, because if he was a CGI giant green monster that would likely not only seem like a rip off of the concept of the Lizard and Hulk. But it would limit or completely erase the appearance of the Norman Osborn character and actor, whoever that may be. It would also limit the appearance of the Goblin in general because CGI is expensive. Better to just give him a good costume, enhanced human abilities super strength and some high tech gadgets and call it a day.

Totally and heck for kraven bit isn't there stuff in the comics like special herbs or potions he has taken to highten his skills and what not.

A CGI based character can still have a lot of personality. He doesn't have to be like the Hulk, who can be very primal and animalistic. He can still be ruthless, calculating Normon Osborn. We've had the helmeted goblin, we've had a green skinned goblin. Now I'd like to see a monstrous hulk goblin.

Yeah, they've done that before. I think it would make for a very good fit for the movie.

Again for me we don't need all villains from a mutation or from oscorp. Spidey has the science mishaps guys. Regular crooks and nuts to even a few odd ball folks like magic and all. We should see a wide variety. And I do hope they toss in a few of the low lister guys like a white rabbit grizzly leapfrog etc... as a wink to fans and be some body spidey takes down real quick just for a gag or montage type scenes.

I'd except it if the did it like in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon(please don't kill me). Hear me out, that Goblin had the monstrous strength and size of Ultimate Goblin but all the technology(including the Glider), Norman Osborn personality and insanity of 616 Goblin.

Something like that would be perfect.

Also, the villains don't have to come from Oscorp either. We have Ock, Silvermane, Adrian Toomes, Hammerhead, Kingpin, and even JJJ who created the Scorpion in the 90's series if memory serves correct. It is possible one of these characters could be funding or causing the creation of all these villains like Scorpion, Mysterio, Shocker, Sandman, Rhino, Electro, etc.

Some of these villains will probably create themselves. Or we can have villains like Mysterio, Vulture, Shocker, and Kraven who created themselves for the first couple of films before we move to villains who used others tech to gain powers like Rhino.

This is the kind of thing I was thinking. Not fully hulked out, more like an 8 foot monstrosity, with the glider still.

Because he's overshadowing all the other worthwhile characters who haven't been adapted at all.

No no Mike I meant when ever mcu gets to goblin. I want to see a more faithful take this go sround. As I said before I don't want goblin or ock to be threats right off the bat again. Supporting guys pre villain stage yes. But we should give mysterio shocker vulture scope ion kraven etc.... chance first for at least first two solo films or first few mcu related films. Leave goblin and evil ock for phase 4.

Oh, well I agree with that. Is there anyone who doesn't? I suppose those who want a faithful Ultimate Spider-Man version?

Presumably, those who want monstrous Green Goblin. I'm not one of those people, but someone apparently is.

Oh ya as I said before goblin wise no to hulk out goblin.

I'm cool with Goblin Ultimate or 616. As long as they wait until after atleast the fourth film to do him again. Not only have we not seen Norman Osborn doing anything since Spider-Man 2002. After 2002 all he did was appear in hallucinations and ASM2, dying(then died before he could do anything) at that. Hive Norman some spotlight before he goes green. I mean, Vulture, Mysterio, Kraven, Shocker, Scorpion, and all the other villains who never got a chance to shine in the Live Action films deserve a chance to shine before the Goblin takes over again.

While I'm not a be fan of Ultimate Goblin,I like the idea of Norman taking a serum that changes him into an actual goblin. No mask, but no giant sized monster either. That way you can used pratical makeup and he can still show his expressions and such. Kinda like the way the Goblin looked in Raimi's original screentest.

I'm still with Mysterio as the villain.
I'd love to see Miles Warren as the villain for the sequel, the way he was made in the Spectacular Spider-Man animated.

Kingping, Shocker and Mysterio, Kinpin is already developed, Shocker doesn't need much deleopment, so theres only development needed for Mysterio!
