i know what she said but it's on me what i want to believe, right? I usually trust my guts when casting and rumours floating around in which roles actors/actresses are probably casted and something telling me she is MJ.
From moment TDKR hit the big screen, I dont believe anymore actresses on which role they playing. Also i guessed Cumberbatch is Khan.

As you said, Gadon have only cameo in ASM2 and bigger roles in sequels. I can't see any women character other then MJ who would have bigger (important) role in sequels and just cameo in ASM2. Only time will tell was i right or not

But I do think we need an MJ who's hotter than both of them...I mean geez, we got Kiersten Dunst the last time, they really need to make sure the new MJ is smoking hot to make up for that.

Nobody comes to mind at the moment that can fill those shoes, I'm thinking it'll have to be an unknown. But they can do better than the choices they have....I can seriously just go to the mall and find girls that look more like MJ than either of them.

But yeah, acting ability is important too, I know.

What about my pick of Alexis Knapp from Project X and Pitch Perfect?

She looks like she's 6', has the curves to match MJ, and is just plain gorgious...

Here is some info about her I found online:

It has her height at 5' 8". Maybe it was the heals that made her look so tall in Pitch Perfect. (5'8" just like MJ!).

Her eyes are blue/green. (Green, just like MJ!).

Measurements are 33 x 24 x 34 (umm... perfect! Bombshell material).

Also, she used to be a model and dancer (just like MJ!).

Someone posted a good pic of Alexis with red hair. Any chance someone could put up a good full body shot? The blue outfit she wears in that Pitch Perfect scene really shows off her curves...

1. They need an actress with the acting ability to pull off the role and make us believe in MJ.

2. Chemistry with Andrew/Peter. Debatable in the #2 spot this could easily be seen as #1, so I consider them interchangeable. Without the chemistry, the relationship and the audience will not be connected. Especially considering the fact that the chemistry with Gwen and Peter is so palpable we need an even greater amount between Peter and MJ...don't know if it's possible but it makes this aspect even more important.

3. Looks. It's a factor but nowhere near as important as reasons #1 and #2. End of story.
