Your Wrong!

No, he's not. And I honestly can't understand this ongoing obsession with choosing over-beefed people to play DB/DBZ characters... I know that many DB fighters are (or become) rather muscular, but that's largely irrelevant, because virtually all of them end up being hundreds or thousands times stronger than their physiques would explain... and, in fact, it's something of a running joke in DB/DBZ that an incredibly big and/or muscular guy gets beaten the living cr@p out of him by a single blow (and a casual one, at that) from one of the main, much smaller main characters... especially in the tournaments: Kuririn, young Goku, Pan, Chaozu... all of them consistently get to beat mammoths several times bigger than them; actually, the whole idea of defeating contenders seemingly much stronger is established practically from the beginning of the series.

And there's an additional reason not to focus too much on physique: with precious little exceptions, most of these hunks couldn't act for their lives.

i actually agree with him...i never use exclamation points in a serious manner, it was in fun

you really are obsessed with that movie..

lol your obsessed with Dragonball

And yeah the kid is too ugly anyway to play Gohan, and he probably cant act

I think Krillin would be hard, 'cause they have to somehow remove his nose, and CG would be too noticeably, and a mask would look unrealistical.
As it goes for Gohan, they might not show him w/o Clothes, so there are more than that Mini-Bodybuilder, that can play him.

their are more than enopugh actors who are chinese looking, small, bald and dont look like a midget to play krillin
and still it would make the movie more stupid to give him no nose..
so the best option is the guy from ocean's eleven that chinese guy lol he's small and can shave his head bald

I would have to say Cell. He would just look wierd... the androids would be cool though

I'd probably say Frieza, bcuz non-human looking characters are always hard to make believable

Def. Super Sayajin Brolly...Damn, just imagine how beef he should be!!!

i think that gohan would be the hardest to translate on a big screen because to get a 5 year old kid to smash a body builder like nappa into a mountain would be kinda hard, but they would have to alter the age of gohan to have a child star fight.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!! @ OP

Nathan Jones is SO Nappa! Fantastic picture, man!

Personally, for me, it's the talking animal-people. I just shudder imagining Garfield style characters in a live action DBZ movie, it would be too much like recent Sonic games where they interact with Final Fantasy-esque human characters. :nono: Well, maybe just Korin... but even still, they better do a DAMN good job, and make the screen time short.

I also, unfortunately, think it would be really cheesy and kill the quality of the movie if they made the eternal dragon visible. :csad: Unless it's like Lord of the Rings quality, which I HIGHLY doubt will happen.

Well, they did it with Goku didn't they? :oldrazz:

Exactly. I don't even know why the whole "kid Gohan" thing is such a big issue. It's not a question of can a 5 year old smash Nappa into a mountain--of course he can with a proper stunt coordinator and sPecial effects team!--the question is can they find a young actor who won't go all Li'l Ani Skywalker and annoy the crap out of a fan base notorious for hating bratty little kids in sci-fi action films!

I voted talking Animals, which we'll probably never see so I guess a noseless Krillin would have made more sense

Cell. You'd have to establish the red-ribbon army and Gero. That, and the fact that they wouldn't have 17 and 18, so they would probably start him off in his perfect form which would annoy me. I'm a huge cell fan, but his perfect form isn't my fav. I like his first form.

Another one would be Buu. You'd have to bring in Babidi and Bibidi and all those others, and they annoy me. That, and Buu is pure evil and madness, and we've seen how well Fox does with evil and madness: meaning they usually make him redeemed in the end when they kill him.

Krillin, IMO.

The nose thing would look weird on screen but how else could you make Krillin without that physical feature? Its what makes him him ... kinda.

With a nose he would look like any ordinary shaolin monk.

Considering how much they changed characters like Yamcha and Roshi in appearance, Krillin looking like Krillin with a nose would hardly be the worst bastardization.
