I've been reading A LONELY PLACE OF DYING, A HERO REBORN and some of the early ROBIN titles....

I have to say TIM DRAKE is hella interesting. I've always known of Tim as Robin, but loved Dick as Robin. Now it seems Tim is my favorite.

DAMIAN SHMAMIAN! Tim Rules.

Who are your favorite Robins?

Tim is the best Robin, but I like Dick overall as a character
Damien is good too. Havent read alot of Jason Todd or the others

Stephanie is my favorite Robin. For that brief time she had the job, she was the first one to bring back some of that old Grayson-esque levity, but still keep it fresh and modern. I'm sorry they shafted her like they did. At least she's doing very well Batgirl now

Tim Drake is my favourite Robin. Dick's second.

I grew up with Tim as Robin even though Grayson has always been my favorite bat character outside of Bruce I knew him more as Nightwing growing up. A Lonely Place of Dying was the first arc I ever bought in single issues with my own money. The comic books I had before that were all handed down to me by my older cousin. I also still have the issues of BATMAN where Tim actually became Robin and many of his very early adventures as Robin to this very day.

That being said I actually like Damian in the role more so I'd say he's become my favorite Robin. Jason is also very underrated many don't know his pre-crisis stuff but that was some good stuff. Hell he even had some moments of shine during post-crisis too before they purposely kept upping the obnoxious ante with him to piss some readers off.

I've always loved Jason very much! As I discovered much later, his pre-crisis stuff showed that he was just as capable as Dick, if not a little bit more gung ho. My dad was into Batman around the time that he died (I was little) and he actually let me call in and cast my vote. I voted for him to live!

It wasn't until Tim came around that I really got into comics though

Tim is king of the Robins!

He truly is Bruce's finest student, and the worthy successor of the title of World's Greatest Detective.

Dick is still a god among men, though. Awesome as Nightwing and even awesomer as Batman.

Tim, definitely.

Damian's growing on me a lot. I love how he's such a bastard.

Tim will always be the best in my opinion. That being said, I love his role as Red Robin and I love Damian as Robin.

Well, it's usually the first one you encounter, so Dick Grayson for me. But I like all the Robins, except Spoiler.

Tim Drake. He's the best all around Robin.

Dick was great, but was always meant to be his own man. Damien is fun, but it's too early to see his full potential yet.

Just to reinforce my opinion..

"Dick saw being Robin as a thrill. It's probably why he outgrew it. Jason saw being Robin as a game. It's probably what got him killed. But...Tim...I have to hand it to the boy...He wants to be the world's greatest detective. And from what I've seen so far...he will be someday." -Batman

And my favorite quote thus far about Damian as Robin:

"Is that Damian in a Robin costume?" -Newly returned BruceBat

This question gets asked a lot.

As a Robin of any color, Tim was the best. Saddens me that Tim gets unincluded from the awesome new Young Justice cartoon.

Tim Drake without a nanosecond of hesitation. When I got into Batman in '88 he was a loner and a dark character. Then Batman came out and he was the same way in the movie. I was aware of Robin's through flashback's and dialogue, and I was always happy that theyre the past. Tim Drake appeared and I didnt suspect hell become a Robin at first, although he donned Todd's costume very soon but was later forbidden any further actions and worked only as a computer guy and a detective in the cave. Through those stories I really got to like the character, thought Rim's really likeable and easy to identify with. So once he became Robin, even tho I hated (and still hate) the idea of Batman working with someone, he wasnt as often with Batman and by that point I already liked the character very much

Damian by far, he's a complete loose cannon and a shameless elitist. He's got all of Bruce's personality flaws but few of his virtues. And that makes him an interesting character, he doesn't just exist to get kidnapped or provide comic relief. He's a serious, homicidal killer who just happens to be on the right side of the law...at the moment.
For a Robin, a character many mock, I think it's great that Damian is such a total maniac. I keep expecting him to gut Grayson like a fish.

Carrie Kelley is my favorite Robin.

Tim and Dick. But I have a soft spot for Jason when Max Allan Collins re-introduced him Post-Crisis.

Max Allan Collins had one of the most solid runs on Batman in the history of the title!

He did. All I need to buy is Batman Annual #11 and I have the complete run. But it was otherwise really good. I really wish it would be collected, but i doubt it'll ever happen.

I'm bowing to the experts here in hopes of finding out what some good 'Dick Grayson as Robin' stories. Any trades or issues I should pick up? I was also wondering if there are any good Jason Todd Robin stories.

Help me out folks!

That's about it for JASON! Sadly, not a lot of stuff collected from his years as Robin

^Thanks, man. Is that Volume 2 of Batman Chronicles?

And sadly I've read both of the ones recommended for Jason..I guess I'm SOL

Well... yes, the Chronicles is Volume 2 as it contains more Dick Grayson appearances than Vol. 1. Too bad there don't seem to be many collected Jason Todd stories!
