LOL bad time to have spaz fingers...
Okay, man, you got me, I really believe that a shot of the American flag in a Spider-Man has annoyed the ENTIRE world!!1!11!!! Nevermind that the original quote was in italics...
Now we're attacking people's spelling. Weak.
Yeehaa! Go Jesusland!GOD BLESS AMERICA!
Okay man, but to avoid any future confusion on your part, please be aware that the usage of italics invokes emphasis and exaggeration.
In other words,
"He started it!"

That it could annoy a lot of people, which is true.
Movies hardly have patriotism anymore and I'm glad that one superhero franchise still has the balls to proudly say "I'm american," so no I don't have a problem with it.
Superman Returns' 'Truth, Justice and other stuff' was the biggest cop out ever.
I agree 100%.

Maybe a different insert could have been shot for those few seconds?
I'm from Chicago, I feel left out and threatened!!!They should take out the New York city name too.
The last thing I want to see is that it's suppose to take place in an American city.![]()
you already got your wish. international trailers and tv spots have been showing the scene with the flag totally cut out and replaced with the sky as a background. in fact, i've seen numerous american tv spots where the flag is erased. apparently you can't even show the american flag in america. i wish the marketing department would've grown some balls instead of pandering to the hippie liberals.

No, I agree. I think you can be proud of your personal achievements, but to be proud of (in the case of BrklynsVeryOwn) 'being black' is akin to me saying that I'm proud of having two arms.
If you think about it, it is rather silly.

Well no, not really. Well, you can, but you wouldn't have done anything to warrant it.
So you cannot be proud of who you are or what you are?
Come...on.
Seriously. Come On!!!![]()
So you're telling me in order to warrant pride....you must have done something to do so? You are simply stating, in effect, that you can only be proud of something you've -done- rather than something you are, or have become out of circumstance...you cannot be proud of such?Well no, not really. Well, you can, but you wouldn't have done anything to warrant it.
